There was a loud knock on Johnny's door, he groaned, shifting in his bed.
"Johnny! It's 7 AM! You might want to get up if you have class soon!" Chip yelled from behind the door before walking down the stairs.
Johnny's eyes slowly opened, he left his curtain open, small strays of light brightened the room. He turned his head away from the window, he was still laying on top of his blankets, still in his outfit from yesterday.
He sat up, rubbing his eyes. He gasped, remembering what happened he jumped up from bed, looking for his phone. He ripped his top blanket from his bed; where was his phone?
He moved to walk to the other side of his bed, he sighed, seeing his phone laying face down on the floor. He picked it up, grateful it didn't crack and unlocked it. He had a voicemail.
"Hey, Johnny, it's Joey, I wish I could talk right now, but I'm in a lot of pain, so I'll make this quick. I'm okay, the coals weren't that hot, but it did burn me pretty good. I'm in the hospital with my aunt right now, I hope I'll be out by the next challenge."
He threw his door open, running through the house. The others were up, rushing to see why he looked so freaked out.
"Johnny!"
"Hey, everything okay, man?"
"Did you hear from Joey?" Everyone started talking at once, Johnny turned towards them, moving his arms wildly.
"She's okay, but she's in the hospital, I'm going to go visit her,"
"I'll grab my keys," Chip said, running to the kitchen, the others nodded and murmured in agreement.
"No, I'm going, you all stay here," Johnny said, Javi grabbed his shoulder, eyes pleading.
"She's our friend too, Johnny, if she's in trouble, we're going," Javi smiled warmly, the others nodded.
"Besides, she's a ROR and we help each other," Chet pipped in, Chip came back into the room with his keys.
"Alright, let's go," Johnny said, the others pilled themselves into Chip's car and headed towards the hospital.

Joey carefully opened her wings, the doctor was standing behind her, watching her movements.
"Open...and close," The doctor said, pushing their glasses up their face. "Okay, good, the burns are already looking better, no nerves were hurt this time, but they will be extra sensitive from now on,"
"Okay, thank you, Doctor," Abigail said, holding Joey's hand. The Doctor nodded and left the room, giving them a moment alone.
"I just got my cast off," Joey grumbled, pulling the hospital gown across her back.
"I know, Dear, but it could be worse, you can still move and open them," Her aunt said softly, taking her hand again.
"I know,"
"And Carrie Williams will be in major trouble when this is all over, this is absolutely unacceptable. What would prompt her to do this?" Her aunt said, looking out the window, she asked the question more to herself.
"Um, excuse me, Ms. Hardscrabble?" The nurse poked her head into the room, they both turned to look at her. Joey laid back on the bed, pulling the blue blanket over her lap.
"Yes?"
"You have visitors in the lobby,"
"Probably the school board, I forgot to email them I was taking the day off," Her aunt stood, touching Joey's knee softly. "I'll be back,"
