He planned everything.
And then he told them that Madel was somehow shock of his decision to get married. So, his family was quite prepared to hear that Madel was somewhat hallucinating, or having wedding jitters.
He knew he should feel bad for her. But why? He planned to give her everything, and to make her happy. Babawian niya na lang ito sa ibang bagay. He would make sure na hindi ito magsisisi sa pagpapakasal sa kanya.
His mother decided that Madel was in a very uncomfortable clothes at kailangang magbihis. Noon niya inilabas ang mga biniling damit ni Ethan na muntik niya pang masuntok kanina dahil gustong makita si Madel at ayaw tanggapin ang bayad niya sa mga damit.
