Chapter 30: Supporter

I don't know if my parents are really killed because of their job. There seems something hidden that growing up I thought I knew what they were working on but I was wrong.

Tito Eros and Tita Andresa advised me to just stop seeking answers that I know are not available. And I guess they were right. It's been months since Eren investigated it. He told me that my parents were able to crack a case that pinpoints a powerful man but it only ends there. We have no proof that they were killed intentionally. All that was sent by the anonymous sender was a letter with so many loopholes.

Tama nga sila, I have to enjoy what I have now. Knowing my parents' death wouldn't make a difference. But I really want to know. Pero sa tingin ko ay hindi pa siguro ito ang tamang panahon na malaman ko kung ano man ang katotohanan. The Buenavistas gave me everything. They made me whole again. They became my home, filling the hole my parents left me.

"Congratulations, baby." and then he kissed me on the lips.

Right. This is the most important. Me around the people I love.

I smiled widely and kissed him back with the same intensity. Hindi ko pinansin kong nasaang lugar kami. I heard giggles and gasping around us. Today is the day I graduated. Even before that, a lot of opportunities called me in. All of them are offering me to go abroad and I still haven't told Eren about it. I am reluctant to accept the offer because I don't want to live that far.

Sa mga nagdaan na taon, mas lalong naging madali sa akin ang pag-aaral. Ganoon naman talaga kapag may inspirasyon at maraming pangarap sa buhay. Little by little, the dresses I made, which Ate Gigi displayed in Manila, were bought by people. It made me happy so much and I felt so independent with that. I earned money out of it while I am still studying.

Dahan dahan akong lumapit kay Eren na nagtatampo sa akin ngayon. Kasalukuyan kaming nasa Siargao kasama ang aking mga kaibigan isip selebrasyon sa aming pagtatapos noong nakaraang dalawang linggo. Who would have thought that time could leap so fast like the speed of light.

Kinagat ko ang aking pang-ibabang labi habang dahan dahan na nilapit ang aking boyfriend na nagtatampo sa akin. He is alone in the small boat and no other people are around. I stepped on the boat and he saw me but moved his eyes back into the calm beautiful river of Maasin Enchanted River. We are near the edge of the dream-like river where there are hut houses for tourists to stay in.

"Eren," malamyos kong tawag sa atensyon niya.

He did not say anything. Kinagat ko muli ang aking pang-ibabang labi dahil kahit galit siya, nagsasaya ang paru-paru sa aking tiyan. I hugged him from the back, around his neck, and kissed him softly there.

"I'm sorry, Eren. Are you still mad at me?' malambing kong bulong.

He scoffed. I cupped his face and kissed him all over. He likes me kissing his face everytime and he softens after that. But I don't think kisses can make him forgive me because I think I ignored him too much for today. Hindi ko kasi iyon sinasadya. Ang dami kasing plano namin nila Zialvee at Justine at kasama namin ang girlfriend ni Totong, kaya inakala kong nakikisama siya kina Totong, David at Albert. Not until David told me Eren did not go with them when they went surfing.

Ngumuso ako at pinisil ang kanyang pisngi. Nananataling nakakunot ang kanyang noo. Ang suplado talaga ng guwapitong ito, e. Humarap ako sa kanya at hindi pa rin siya tumingin sa akin. My man is grumpy, e. I placed my hand on his shoulders, caressing him before sitting on top of him. Sinadya kong ibaba ang aking suot na white robe-like dress kaya lumantad ang aking suot na two piece bikini.

I saw his Adam's apple move. I pouted a bit because his stares makes me feel so small and a series of electric feelings flows through my veins upon his hot and loving gaze. Umiwas siya muli ng tingin at pinapanatiling nakakunot ang noo niya. This is not the first time he saw my body wearing a bikini but every time I am wearing one and he is staring at me, it hits different.
