Winwin raised his hand. "I am against it. It's a horrible plan."
"I second that," Kun agreed.
"Same," Doyoung added, meanwhile throwing an angry glare at Taeyong. "Your ideas are getting worse by the day."
Unfazed, as he had expected these exact reactions, Taeyong just sighed.
"It's the best option we have.""How?" Renjun asked. "I know that we have Jeonghan to help us, but we can't trust him that much."
Jaehyun, on the other hand, could only shrug. "If Jie is okay with it, then I don't think there is a problem nor a reason to argue about it. She already agreed."
Johnny shook his head in disappointment at the younger's statement while Taeil nodded, somewhat agreeing with Jaehyun.
As they were busy discussing that, Jie just watched quietly.
A room full of boys, all gathered around a large table, as well as the sofa and armchairs which were surrounding it. A few were even standing. It was rare to have a meeting with everyone like this.
What wasn't rare, however, was that within this large group everyone had their own opinions on the plans and ideas Taeyong proposed.
"That's not only her decision," Ten pointed out. "It will affect all of us, especially if it goes wrong." He looked at Jeonghan who rolled his eyes as he sighed.
Unsure what to say and who to listen to, Jie looked up at Jeonghan who was leaning against the wall opposite her.
"What do you think?" she asked.
"Sure," he shrugged. "Why not, let's do it."
Kun threw a wordless, judging glare at the older. However, while he didn't say anything, Jisung was quick to note that,
"You agreed too easily." He raised a brow, inspected the boy carefully. "This doesn't seem right."
"I also think he is kinda suspicious," Jaemin whispered into Jie's ear who just shook her head. She gently nudged his side, urging him to stay out of this knowing how conflicted he was. On the one hand, he wanted to be on Jie's side and support her decision.
But he also very much believed that said decision was incredibly dumb.
Anyway, since everyone voiced their opinions so freely, Jeonghan did the same.
"All I did was agree with her!" he defended himself eagerly. "What is your guys' problem? I go along with your ideas - you don't like it. I disagree with your ideas - you also don't like it. Can you tell me what I am supposed to do so that you accept me?"
Silence erupted as all the boys present tried to think of an answer to that question. What could he do?
They were genuinely thinking about it. And while they were busy doing that, Jie frowned at the amount of distrust gathered around that one boy - especially since she herself had already decided to trust him.
She looked at Jeonghan who seemed a little lost, buried under judgmental glares and surrounded by over two dozen boys that hated his guts.
Fun.
When he met the girl's gaze, he tried not to look as uncomfortable as he felt. Judging by Jie's amused smirk, however, he must have failed at that.
