"Yo," Lucas whispered to Hendery. "What number did you get?"
"5," he whispered back, showing Lucas the piece of paper that lazily had a number written on it. "You?"
Frowning, Lucas showed the younger his own piece. "6."
Hendery snickered, pressed his head against the wall behind him as he shuffled on the floor, trying to get comfortable.
"You are the last one," he mocked him.
"Oh well," Lucas said spitefully. "You are second to last."
"Why are Kun, Ten and Winwin not here?" Yangyang asked, leaning forward a bit and looking at his three friends and Jeonghan that were all sitting on the ground, waiting somewhat patiently.
"Because they didn't get injured," Xiaojun explained briefly.
And while that was happening, Haechan happened to walk past the five boys that sat in a line next to each other. He glimpsed at the closed door next to them.
"What are you guys doing here?"
"Waiting," Hendery informed him.
"No shit," Haechan said. "What for?"
Xiaojun nodded towards the door. "Doyoung's going to patch us all up," he explained. "But he ordered us according to priority and made the rest of us wait out here."
"Ah," Haechan exhaled, then let his eyes run over the line of boys. "So you are low priority, huh?"
"Compared to Jie, everyone is low priority to Doyoung," Yangyang pointed out, then smiled proudly. "As it should be~"
Just as he said that, Jaemin joined the boys. However, rather than stopping to talk to them, he walked past them and up to the door while he noted,
"You guys look miserable."
"We are bathing in the painful but glorious success of victory, my friend," Lucas pointed out, causing Jeonghan to frown and look at him.
"You just said you hurt yourself when you tripped running to the car," the oldest of the bunch noted.
Lucas nodded. "Yeah, running to the car that drove us to victory. Honestly, you are a little dense, I feel like."
Jeonghan sighed just as Jaemin reached the door. He knocked on it, then had to wait a few moments before Doyoung opened it.
"Ah, there you are." He glimpsed down at the boy's hand, spotting the hoodie he was carrying with him, which he then offered Doyoung. "Thanks."
"Why do you need my hoodie though? Didn't we bring a change of clothes for Jie?" he inquired, remembering how he packed a set of clothes for her.
"We did," he confirmed. "But she kept complaining, saying she wanted your clothes cause they are more comfortable."
"They are!" Jie argued, her voice instantly bringing a smile to Jaemin's lips.
"I am sure they are," Jaemin told her through the barely opened door. He couldn't see her but he was already happy to hear her voice. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," she said, yet stopped talking as a yawn crept up her throat. "Tired."
"She mentioned that she barely slept because she couldn't fall asleep," Doyoung recalled. "We won't leave until later tonight anyway. Can you make sure she gets some rest before then?"
