I'M NOT DEAD.
Also, if it's not too bothersome, I'd love to see more comments on the story. It makes me more interested in writing the story tbh.

Suk-chin let out a heavy breath as he walked home. It was still dark out, but that didn't matter.
While he did have night vision for quite some time, to Suk-chin, he may as well had been blind.
I can feel... everything. Suk-chin thought to himself. The insects hiding in the cracks of that wall... the people having an argument eight blocks away... I can feel the lives of every person in this city.
Suk-chin swallowed. But it's not just that. I can feel the blood being pumped by my heart, the air being inhaled and exhaled, the movement of my muscle fibers...
When I curl my finger, I can feel the contractions... whenever I take a step, I can feel the resistance in each individual point. In every movement I take, I can feel the complete flow of energy within, and around me.
It was a state of hyper-awareness Suk-chin had never even thought of before. It was as if he was feeling the world itself.
While initially overwhelming, right now, it simply felt... liberating.
It's a strange feeling, but... Suk-chin temporarily halted, and stared up at the moon. I feel as if... this is how it always should have been.
It didn't take long for his mind to wander, however. Specifically, towards one crimson haired girl.
Ah. I was... rude to her, wasn't I?
Suk-chin felt a small pang of guilt. Now that he had seemingly acheived what he was searching for, he realized he wasn't treating those around him as he should have.
I should apologize.
Suk-chin started walking again, until he got home. Unlocking his door, he stepped inside. The place was rather dark, which made sense considering the time.
Suk-chin was instantly aware of where Rias was located. He closed the door before taking off his coat and kicking off his shoes.
Walking up the stairs, he reached the door to his room. He hesitated for a moment, before walking inside.
Suk-chin zeroed in on his bed, where he saw Rias's sea of crimson hair. She was slumped on their bed, latched onto a huge pillow.
As soon as the door opened, Rias jumped up and stared at Suk-chin with wide eyes. They were desperate, and she had dried tears in the corners of her eyes.
"S-Suk-chin?" Rias gasped.
"...Hey."
Rias lunged from the bed and latched onto him strongly. "Where the hell were you!?" She shouted.
Suk-chin immediately returned the embrace, causing Rias's breath to hitch.
"I was fighting stray devils." He told her the truth right away.
Rias gasped again, staring at him in a mix of surprise, worry and anger. "You were what!?"
"That's what I've been doing this whole time." Suk-chin explained. "To get stronger."
"You... you..." Rias sputtered. "So, you've been going out without my permission and fighting all by yourself? Putting yourself in danger!?"
"...Yes."
Suk-chin let the slap connect with his face. Very rarely would he allow this, but in this very specific scenario, he wouldn't complain.
"How could you do that?" Rias asked weakly. "I explained how dangerous it was out there, and you went alone? Without telling anyone?"
