"Come on, Irina. Don't be shy." Ms.Shidou cooed softly as a five year old Irina Shidou hid behind her leg.
A few feet away, a young boy with messy black hair and red eyes was standing there, with his own mother standing behind him, hands on his shoulders.
In his hands was a soccer ball. The boy stared at his new neighbours questionningly. He saw the chestnut haired girl peeking her head out from behind her mother's leg.
After a few silent moments of neither of them doing anything, the young boy was struck with an ingenious plot.
He lifted the ball in his hands, and chucked it right at the girl's face, nailing her despite the cover.
Both mother's gasped, and the boy's mother looked horrified for a moment, before the girl immediately jumped back to her feet. A bruise was already forming on her face, but she had a fierce glare in her eyes.
"What's your problem, huh?" She scowled, before kicking the ball right back at the boy. The boy caught the ball in his hands. "Too slow." He drawled, before kicking it back at her. This time, she caught it too.
"Why you!"
And the two proceeded to play rather aggressively, before slowly but surely calming down, but continuing to play regardless.

Irina thrust her katana forward, jabbing it towards Suk-chin's chest. Suk-chin sidestepped out of the way.
Course correcting immediately, Irina twisted around and swung her weapon at his side.
Suk-chin stepped forward, and suddenly Irina felt the world spin around her as she was thrown over his head.
Before she could hit the ground, she flipped around and landed back on her feet.
As soon as she touched the ground, she lunged forward. Irina swung her sword in a diagonal arc, aiming for his neck.
Leaning back, Suk-chin evaded the attack. He raised his fist to strike, but as Irina rushed forward again, he felt his lips twitch into a small grimace.
Instead of attacking, Suk-chin grabbed onto her sword's handle the next time she attacked.
"Irina..." He started, trying to think of something to say.
"Shut up." She responded. She was no longer yelling, speaking in a cold voice that matched the look in her eyes. She yanked herself out of his grip and attacked again.
Suk-chin continued dodging her swings, which continued to increase in speed. I think she's faster than the other girl...
It was getting a bit annoying to evade her attacks now.
With a particularly powerful swing, Irina managed to nick Suk-chin across the chest with her weapon.
It was an incredibly minor wound. But coming from a holy sword, Excalibur no less, to a devil, it was enough.
Suk-chin winced as he felt a burning pain spread through his chest as his energy started being sapped away by the holy power.
Irina scoffed. "All devils are the same. Just because you have Suk-chin's face, doesn't mean you're strong."
Irina walked towards Suk-chin, who was staggering do to Excalibur's effects.
Standing in front of him, Irina gripped Excalibur Mimic tightly. Slowly, she raised her weapon, aiming it down at Suk-chin's head.
Shaking for a moment, Irina's eyes softened for a fraction of a second, before she hardened them again, and brought her sword down.
Suk-chin caught the sword by its handle mid swing once more.
