TW: Pain, mentions of self harm, torture, sadness
When I opened my eyes, I knew everything was better. I looked over my shoulder and there were my beautiful blue wings.
1st Person POV (Alexandrya)
I smiled to myself. They weren't gone. I reached out to touch them. They were real. I heard laughter and I turned towards it. My smile faltered.
"Lex, we gotta go! Stop!" Nev said laughing. There was another Lex pinning her down and tickling her. We both looked to be in our teenage years.
They were on the ground and it looked like they had been practicing fighting.
"Not until you admit that I'm the better fighter. I beat you fair and square." The other Lex said.
"Fine. FINE! You won. You're better!" Nev said, still laughing. The other Lex let up.
"You're damn right I am. Now come one, let's not keep your parents waiting." They ran off.
"LEX! SLOW DOWN!" I turned towards the new voice and saw another version of me with Loki. We were also younger.
Lex was flying around carrying Loki on my back.
"Scared, Lokes?" That Lex asked.
"Maybe a little. Just slow down, please." He said and I watched as she did.
"Lex? Loki? Where are you?" A new voice called.
"We're over here, Thor!" Lex called back as she slowly landed. Soon enough the young Thor came running over to us.
"I have the greatest idea for a prank of Nev!" Loki said excitedly and Lex and Thor perked up.
"Tell us. Tell us!" Lex said eagerly.
They sat huddled together in the field planning the prank.
"No no no. You're doing it wrong. Your left foot needs to be behind your right. Your weight will be more evenly distributed that way." I turned towards the new voice.
A teenage version of Thor stood teaching teenage Lex how to fight.
"Like this?" Lex asked. Thor smiled.
"Exactly! Now bring your sword down like this," He demonstrated, "and they'll be forced to block. That leaves an opening for you to go in with a dagger or another sword."
Lex copied his movements, her sword flashing in the sunlight, leaving Thor no choice but to block as he had said. Lex then pretended to stab him with a dagger.
"I WIN!" She exclaimed happily.
"Yes. Yes you did." Thor said smiling.
"Little one, wake up! It's time to start the day." I knew that voice. I turned to see my mother holding a baby version of me. My father standing next to her.
They sat on the sofa in our home, the pale brown couch with the red pillows. I smiled at the sight even though tears were in my eyes. I missed our family.
"Isn't she beautiful, Xan? Our baby girl." I could feel the love radiating from both of my parents.
Xander leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to Lex's forehead.
"She's our Little Lex. Forever and always." My father whispered. My heart broke, he used to love me.
