TW: sadness, death, pain, more sadness, and talk about self harm
My wings were gone.
3rd Person POV (First Team - Loki, Thor, Tony, Rhodey, Scott, Wanda, and Pietro)
They arrived at the location relatively fast. It looked empty, unused. One person walked out of the building. He held something in his hands.
Loki teleported to the guard, ready to take him out when he stopped.
"What are you holding?" He asked angrily.
"They figured you'd come here. I was sent to deliver a message." The guard said. The rest of the team joined Loki.
"Stane said to tell you to stop trying to look for him. It's making him angry." He said as he tossed what he was holding in front of them.
Loki's grip loosened on his dagger and it fell to the ground. Everyone watched the proud god sink to his knees, staring at what was in front of him.
"YOU MONSTER!" Thor shouted. He grabbed the dagger his brother had dropped and threw it at the man, killing him.
No one moved except the two gods. Loki reached out and gently touched the objects. Their beautiful blue hue was now an ashy grey.
"A-Are those..." Scott couldn't finish the question.
"They're her wings. They took her wings." Thor said softly.
Silence fell. Wanda was ready to cry. Pietro had his arms around his sister, comforting her. Scott stared in disbelief at what they had done.
"I'm going to kill them!" Loki shouted as he was standing up.
"Brother, no. You know how hard it's going to be for her. You need to be there." Thor said as he went to grab his arm.
It was too late. Loki teleported away.
Tony flew off. It was obvious that this base was empty, his kid wasn't here.
Thor carefully picked up the once beautiful wings and carried them onto the jet.
The rest of that team boarded the Quinjet and they flew off to the other location.
3rd Person POV (Second Team - Steve, Sam, Clint, Natasha, Vision, Bruce if necessary)
The second team arrived at the other location and was met with gunfire. It took them a lot longer to arrive than the other team. This base was in Russia whereas the other was in Germany.
They flew the Quinjet further away to a safer area and landed. As soon as the Quinjet landed, they opened the door. They were surprised to see Loki standing there, anger written across his face.
"Aren't you supposed to be with the other team?" Steve asked as Tony flew overhead. "Him too?"
"The other base was empty. So we came here." Loki said and turned to head into battle.
The rest of the second team heard the other Quinjet fly overhead.
"Guess splitting up was pointless," Rhodey said as he walked off. Steve shook his head and sighed. They all turned and faced the battle, ready to get their friends back.
1st Person POV (Alexandrya)
Everything hurt. My entire world was flipped upside down. Bucky was gently running a hand through my hair. I was still crying. I was oblivious to everything except the absence of my wings.
I didn't hear the explosions outside. I didn't hear the shouting. I didn't see the god now in front of me. I didn't hear him tell the others to run. I didn't see them leave. I felt the pain when someone tried to pick me up and I cried out.
