And then it all went black.
3rd Person POV (In Alexandrya's mind)
Alexandrya jolted awake and had no idea where she was. The room was empty, there was not a thing in sight except for her and two doors.
She ran over to the door to her right, but the handle wouldn't budge. She then ran to the other door, but it was also locked. She tried to turn the handle over and over until she heard
"Weak." Cold. Empty. She knew who that voice belonged to. They continued.
"For too many years I have been trapped in this prison, fighting to get out, fighting to see light, but nothing. Now I finally have you in here, and I have no intentions of letting you out."
"I'm sorry you've been trapped. Please let me out. I can't be in another prison. Please." Alexandrya begged.
"LOOK AT ME!" Alexandrya faced the voice. Standing in front of her was Shadow.
"I thought you could do it. I didn't think you'd need my help. But you're weak. Broken. You need me. LET ME OUT!" Shadow screamed.
"I won't!" Alexandrya yelled.
"No. I-I can't." Alexandrya told her, tears in her eyes.
"YOU'RE A COWARD! YOU'RE BROKEN! PATHETIC! USELESS! YOU NEED ME!" Shadow screamed.
"NO! I'm my own person. I do NOT need you!" Alexandrya shouted back. She tried to leave, but the door was still locked.
"We can't both leave without you letting me out. That's the rule. One person has to be in here. Unless you destroy it. But you need my help." Shadow growled.
"I DON 'T NEED YOU!" Alexandrya screamed.
"Yes, you do. I'm the ONLY way you can win." Shadow sneered
"This isn't a win or lose situation. Out there, it's about life. About living. Out there, there isn't a winner. That's what it's about." Alexandrya said.
"You're wrong. You created me to help you win. YOU MADE ME! You wanted to win. Now I'm giving you that chance. WHY WON'T YOU TAKE IT?!" There were a few tears in Shadow's eyes.
Alexandrya fell silent.
"Yeah. I remember. I remember the day you created me in your mind. All I wanted was to be there for you, but you used me. You made me win for you. Now it's time for you to do something for me. Let. Me. Out."
"I can't let you out, not again." Alexandrya said firmly. Shadow let out a dry chuckle.
"You just did." And with that, she left. The door slammed shut behind her, leaving Alexandrya alone.
She ran to the door, but it was locked. She banged on the door, crying.
"PLEASE! LET ME OUT! PLEASE!" But no one came. She was trapped. She was alone.
1st Person POV (Scott)
I sat on the chair by Alexandrya's bed. Seven hours ago Bucky had come racing into the common room holding Lex.
She's been unconscious since then. Steve had convinced Bucky to get some rest about three hours ago. I've been here since. I sighed, gently grabbing her hand.
"Come on, Wings. I wish you had told me. It was the fire, wasn't it? I noticed you seemed upset after your training with Wanda. I should have said something." I felt her hand squeeze mine and I looked up. Her eyes were open, but there was something off.
Suddenly she flipped me over and pinned me on the ground.
"Woah Woah Woah. Calm down, Lex. It's okay. It's just me. It's Scott." I said calmly. I didn't want to freak her out more. Unfortunately, that's exactly when Bucky decided to come back in. He froze seeing me pinned to the floor.
