"Umm... Thanks, but I don't really like you. I've kind of only known you for like 2 days." I awkwardly say. I kind of guessed he liked me but I didn't want to get into a relationship or anything. I didn't want to have a crush on anyone or start something as soon as I got to college, yet somehow I knew that was what was going to happen.

"Yeah, I understand completely. Just forget I said anything." He looks away from me and towards the floor.

"Ok, but we're still friends." I smile at him.

"Great. Sorry I said that, let's just move past it." He smiled back.

"Agreed. You hungry?" I ask.

"Starving. Pizza?" He questions back.

"Of course." It seems as if he's known me forever. I quickly dial the number to Pizza Hut and within minutes we're eating pepperoni pizza watching friends on my couch.

A couple hours later Louis goes home and I agree for him to pick me up again tomorrow morning after him repeatedly asking me. I continue checking my social media sites laying in bed, with Sarah sleeping next to me tonight, as I hear my mom walking upstairs and into her room. She should've gotten here about an hour ago, but I guess traffic in New York can be kind of crazy.

A little while later I hear a glass break from the downstairs kitchen. I jump up, as did Sarah, and we sneak into my moms room first, right next to mine to find her getting out of bed.

"Did you hear that crash?" she asks.

"Yeah, who could it be?" I whisper to her with Sarah grasping my back like a little scared child whose just seen a monster.

"I have no clue." She says as she grabs a baseball bat.

We slowly walk down the stairs trying not to make any noise, with my mom walking before me. When we reach the end of the staircase, and my mom switches the kitchen lights on and puts the bat in front of her, ready to strike. How did all these baseball bats get into our house? We don't even watch baseball..
We see a man about my age with food in his arms and the refrigerator open as soon as we reach the end of the stairs.

"Who are you?" I ask demandingly.

"I'm Niall." he acts happy and energetic even though we just caught him stealing our food. "Sorry, I'm kind of raiding your kitchen. I was really hungry and I saw this address on Louis' messages, so.." he trails off.

"It's ok, guys, he's Louis' friend." I tell them. My mom puts the bat down on the side of the banister and walks back upstairs as she rolls her eyes, with Sarah doing the same thing. "So, why are you stealing our food?" I walk closer to the kitchen and I noticed how bright his blue eyes were, even in the dark.

"I was hungry." He states again.

"Well, you know it's not very good to steal strangers food in the middle of the night, right?" I giggle and wonder if he has any common sense.

"Oh, I know. I just get a little carried away sometimes. Plus, you were on Louis' top people he texts so I assumed you weren't that bad." He smiles and I notice his catching Irish accent.

"Oh, thanks." I say sarcastically.

"Well, I should probably be going." he says as he sets a box of crackers back into the cabinet I assume he was going to eat and bites into an apple he was also holding. "Sorry I barged in. Byyeeee." he carries out, "See you at school." He waves and closes the front door. I don't remember any classes with him, but maybe I just haven't noticed him.

I laugh as he walks out and I lock the front door, that I seem to have forgotten to do before Niall came raiding our kitchen. I hurry back to my room and fall asleep  next to a snoring Sarah thinking about how many other friends of Louis' could have gotten into the place.

The next morning Louis picks me up and drives me to school again, with Sarah still asleep in my bed. That girl can sleep through anything, for the longest time. We sit in silence other than the radio quietly playing until I decide to ask him about Niall. We spend basically the entire first period talking about him and how he moved from Ireland not too long ago and that he has some crazy problems when it comes to food and to just ignore what he's saying when he gets near it.

"Food is like his alcohol. When he gets around it, he acts like he's a happy drunk and won't stop till someone physically rips it out of his hands and puts it where he can't get to it." Louis laughs as we reach our first period.

"So what's the deal with you and Harry? Do y'all still hate each other?" I question while I'm supposed to be studying.

"Oh, yeah, we're not really on speaking terms." he explains.

"Oh." I respond.

Before I know it the next few weeks go by and Sarah decided to stay with my and my
mom here in New York. My life was beginning to actually look somewhat normal of a college girl, of course without the kitchen raiding and constant boy trouble. Louis picked me up and dropped me off everyday of the week too, and we have become closer friends than before. I haven't spoken to Harry since that one time a couple weeks ago, but I always see him glare at Louis and I when we're on our way to class. Theres only 1 class that I don't have with Louis, so we pretty much walk together everywhere. I've passed every test I've taken here and so far college has been pretty easy. I've heard Juilliard was one of the hardest colleges, but to me, not so much. I've had a few essays but they're easy too. I hope the rest of this year will go by as smoothly as it is now.

My hope is quickly shattered as me and Louis are walking outside to his car after a normal school day as I suddenly fall to the ground as everything around me goes black.
