DSERIES 1: Fathomless Desire [COMPLETED]

| PROLOGUE - LUXCIAN's P.O.V.

It was a starless night with a sombre hue. The wind blows so strong that made the strand of my hair danced with the direction of the air. In a moment, a week or two it'll be December.

The lights in the entire city was too small from where I was—for all building standing in this place, mine was still the most towering that nothing can replace. That's also the reason why I'm able to see everything but too small for I am here, standing above like I am watching my entire territory.

I was addressed as a walking billionaire just like my friends. I have everything that everyone will definitely wish to have, from my fancy cars, branded clothes and the life that I have. A person who doesn't need to think much of earning money just to provide for my needs. 

But they knew nothing about its dark side. 

My father was a billionaire tycoon and as I turned eighteen, he introduced me to business, so that, I will be one of a hell businessman just like him since I am carrying his name—an Evanovitch. 

As Evanovitch, we are known for having tight security in our condominium and its chains. Our penthouse was not an ordinary one and only the affluent could be a member of it. That said, so I made modifications. As I grew more and more influential in the field we operate in, I started to acknowledge that other human beings had distinct socioeconomic statuses, which drove me to decide that I would establish the form of an infrastructure that they would be able to afford for and nevertheless take pleasure in above-average quality service. 

That gave me greater influential status and strengthened the worldwide recognition of my family's household name. We have received an ideal score for our business accreditation, which means we have been acknowledged not solely in the nation where we first operate—Philippines, but also across borders.

Evanovitch Empire bond in the rank and recognized in fifth place. 

Well, in my personal view... it's already fine with me. For what I want is my guests' satisfaction. That's the most important, we may not be in first place of ranking, but we're glad that we are able to enter the international ranking. And we're in fifth place!

Ranking isn't something I really care about; sure, being at the top indicates that the position you hold and the work you done out of it was magnificent, but as long as we're willing to put forth everything we've got along with offering top-of-the-line service, that's good enough for me. To be at the leading edge would be like receiving an additional present, which I would absolutely appreciate.

The most popular building that we have was the Deluxe Residential Building. And this is where I am standing right now. I'm sitting on the edge of the top of my building. The tallest building here in Avenida Avenue— the metropolitan area, presently. Well, this building was my personal property. I worked hard to build this infrastructure, but since I carry the Evanovitch surname, it is still linked to my family.

Anyway, back to the manner I was doing— it was my tea, sitting here in the edge not minding the heights at all. An escape from my very gray life.
