I Chapter 18

| CHAPTER 18 - LUXCIAN's P.O.V. 

As I ended the group call with the troops, I slid my phone into my pocket in a swift motion. There seemed to be some drinking sessions going on. This is not anything new to us, but since Fury just inquired, it appears that we have another subject to discuss. Noong huling naging inuman kasi namin ay tungkol naman kay Deth, sinabi na kasi niya ang tungkol sa relasyong namamagitan sa kanila ni Blythe at kung ano ang kasalukuyang lagay ng meron sila. 

It was something herculean for them to work, but we're all rooting for another chances. 

Aecell is currently staying at her parents' villa, so I decided to give her one complete reckoned from one midnight to the next and time with her parents. Just them, she and her parents. Addressing and rebuilding what was still there. Repairing the wounds in hearts that have been crippled. And also in phases while putting back together their close to home bond to form a whole new beginning— a new chapter as a warm and cozy family.

More often than not, I ended up going with them, but I would rather leave them alone right now.

They have managed to gain a second chance to reestablish their family. Ayoko na munang sumapaw sa kanilang oras na magkakasama. Kahit na bilang na ako sa pamilya nila ay iba pa rin 'yong sila lang. At nandito ako para umunawa, hindi ko nanaising maging hadlang sa kasiyahan ng asawa ko. If she is truly happy with her time with them, I really do not mind giving her that one day to spend with her parents.

Because, truth be told, even if I had my own family, I would never leave and abandon my parents. I would always schedule a room of day and time for them.

They were always the ones who stayed with us when we were little, from the time our mothers caressed her pregnant belly to feel us in their wombs, nurturing us alongside our fathers until birth. They are present whenever we squeal, and they have been with us since the beginning, until we become able to stand on our own, take a step to walk, say a single word, and fall.

Therefore, we should love and appreciate them whilst they are still alive. We do not possess our own lifespan. There is absolutely nothing we can do if the Lord would like to take individuals away at any moment. So, let's honor and respect them whilst they are still alive. Not when they disappear will we be kind, acting like a good daughter and son.

Let us end up making the most of the moment we have with them now by watching television programs together, eating at the table next to each other, saying prayers before leaving each other to sleep in our designated room, and participating in weekend mass, and so on and so forth— all the possible things you could thing off.

We will also be a parents one day, so if you are in a not-so good relationship with your family members, pray and cut the unhealthy behaviour— the curse— returning the bad deeds. Tayo na magpakumbaba. Tayo na lang ang umunawa. Buksan ang isipan at kamalayan, at huwag hayaang manaig ang poot sa ating katauhan. 

As you will be the one to begin a change, take a dip in smooth and concise communication with your parents... Things I desperately desire to do to my parents, but they are gone.
