"When did they come?" Ryder asked. "Right now, their at Town Hall with me and they asked if you could come because they want to see you" Mayor Goodway said.
"I don't want to see them. I'm not coming" Ryder clearly said. "They said that it has been two years since they saw you and they really want to see you" Mayor Goodway said.

Ryder stood silent for a moment. "Alright, I'm coming not because I want to see them, but because I need to make some thing clear to them" Ryder said.
"Okay, their waiting here" Mayor Goodway said.

Ryder hung up the call and left the Lookout, to the backyard where Katie and the pups were. "Hi Ryder" Katie smiled. "Ryder!" all of the pups barked and started running to their beloved owner.
Ryder bent down and petted them on their fuzzy heads. Then he stood back up and said "guess what?".
"What?" Katie asked. "My parents are here" Ryder announced.

"WHAT?!" everyone gasped. "Their at Town Hall and they want to see me. I don't want to see them but I'm going because I have to make some thing clear to them" Ryder explained, "and you pups are coming with me".
"Be careful, Ryder" Katie said.
"There's nothing to be careful about" Ryder said, as he and his pups started walking.

Ryder and his pups neared Town Hall. Ryder's parents came into view. Ryder saw that Jessie's stomach was big and round, which meant she had a baby in there. The minute he saw their faces, flashbacks of that painful moment when they were sending him to the foster home, immediately blurred his vision.

Flashback
"You took our life from us, RYDER!" James yelled at his son. "I promise I won't ever do anything like what I've done! I promise!" Ryder said, his legs trembling from how nervous and scared his was.
"Ryder, we don't care! Go pack up your stuff right now!" Jessie said. "I'm not going to a foster home!" Ryder said.
"Pack. Up. Your. Stuff!" James said. "At least give me a chance to change myself, make up for everything I've done, and apologize!" Ryder begged.
End Of Flashback

"Ryder? Are you okay?" Chase asked, seeing Ryder as he suddenly stopped walking. "I'm okay" Ryder inhaled a deep breath. They walked to Town Hall and Ryder's parents saw him.
"Oh my goodness! Ryder! Look at how you've grown!" Jessie tried to hug her son but he backed off.
"I don't need any love from you guys" Ryder said.

"Just one hug. We've apart for two years and this is how you act when you see us" Jessie said. "Who do you broke us apart?" Ryder asked, folding his arms and raising his eyebrows.

"That was the past, we said sorry and now it's time to get back together and be a family like we always was" James said.
"Your insane" Ryder laughed, "you except me to come back to you guys after the horrible pain you caused me".

"You did a lot to us too. You ripped our life away from us in Adventure City and then got us in prison for years. You should be sorry also" James said.
"Firstly, I didn't take your lives on purpose. I would never do such a thing to someone on purpose. Secondly, you guys deserved to be locked up in prison" Ryder said, "and even if you guys lost everything you had, you shouldn't have sent me to the foster home.
Parents who really love their child will never send them away even in the most difficult situations".

"I'm not liking your attitude! We're your parents and you are gonna respect us" James raised his voice. "What do you except me to do? Come running to you guys with a big smile and hugging you guys tightly!
You'll never understand me because you've never went through what I went through" Ryder said. "Anyways, I came here to make something clear to you guys.
If your going to live in Adventure Bay, your not allowed to bother me nor call me. You can only call me when your in trouble and need rescuing".

"When your baby sister is born, you'll be coming to see her. She's your sister and you should be ashamed if you don't come to see her" Jessie said.

"She's not my sister. None of you are my family" Ryder said, "end of meeting!".
Ryder and his pups then started walking away. "Get back over here!" James yelled.
"Nope, James" Ryder laughed lightly. "How dare you call me by my name?!" James screamed.

Ryder and his pups started laughing as they continued walking away, back to the Lookout.

The moon rose over Adventure Bay, it's glowing light embraced the town. Stars scattered across the ebony black sky.
They luminously sparkled like diamonds laid out on a black clothe.
In the Lookout, the pups were sleeping in the TV room, for it was too cold to sleep in their pup-houses.

Ryder was in his bedroom, laying on his bed and staring at the ceiling. "It's been so long, and to know that my parents are here, I still can hardly believe it" Ryder spoke to himself.

"Ryder?" a sudden voice from outside Ryder's room said. Ryder got out of bed and opened the door. "Chase?" Ryder said.

"I just wanted to check on you" Chase said in a concern voice, "when we got back to the Lookout, you didn't look okay. You were quiet and not doing much".
Ryder walked to his bed with Chase. Chase sat besides him. "Knowing that my parents are in Adventure Bay, makes me sick and not feel well. When we were heading to Town Hall and I saw them, a flashback of the time when they were gonna send me to the foster home, immediately came to me" Ryder explained.

"Ryder, I understand the pain you went through because I went through it also" Chase said. "You did?" Ryder questioned, looking at his pup. "Yes I did. My parents were stray dogs" Chase began. "When me and my siblings were born, life was tough. We barely had enough food to go around.
My parents tried hard to find food. My siblings were weak and started dying off. Soon I was the last of the litter. My parents saw no use in raising one pup. One night, they started walking out of the garage we lived in. I asked them where they were going and they said, 'we're no longer your parents anymore'.
I fought to come with them, but they growled at me and told me to go away.
I watched my parents walk away, never to see them again".

"That actually happen to you?" Ryder asked. "Yes" Chase said, his eyes filling up with sadness. "The next day, a human family adopted me. A few days later, the parents thought I was being too rough with the kids. So they abandoned me on the streets. Then that's when I met you" Chase looked up at Ryder with sparkling brown eyes, "and you saved me from that van. I will never forget that moment".

Ryder smiled and brought Chase closer to him. Chase continued talking. "Ryder, life is cruel and unfair" Chase began.
"But I realized that everything happens for a reason even if we don't like it".

"Your right Chase" Ryder said, "if everything that happened to me in Adventure City never happened, I would've never been here and I would've never been who I am, even I don't like what happened".
"That's life, it's cruel and unfair" Chase said.
Ryder hugged Chase tightly, "you make me feel so much better".
"I'm always here for you Ryder" Chase said, settling down for the night.

Ryder laid down and pulled Chase close to him. "Goodnight Chase" Ryder smiled. "Goodnight Ryder" Chase yawned, as he closed his tired brown eyes. They both fell asleep together
