Chapter 4

"You're not serious" Ryder said, his brown eyes O shaped. "I am serious" Lily said, "after the news came out, I heard him plotting a plan one night. I was dozing off in my bed when I heard him whispering lowly to himself.
He was saying something about going to Adventure Bay. Not only that, but I heard him say that he was going to become the most extraordinary hero anyone had ever seen. I think he's plotting an evil plan against you".

Ryder stood silent, in deep thought. "Thanks for warning me" Ryder said, "goodnight Lily". "Goodnight Ryder" Lily smiled, as she walked over to her bed.

Ryder walked into his room and closed the door. Lily sat on her mattress and stared at the stone that she had been holding.
She then put the stone under her pillow and laid down, closing her tired green eyes and falling into a deep sleep.

Ryder was in his room, laying on his bed and staring up at the blank ceiling. "Dylon is coming" he said, "Dylon is coming? First my parents, then Dylon. What is going on? Something is going to explode soon, I can feel it".

Another day rose upon Adventure Bay. The sun was rising from the horizon. One by one, the pups started awakening.
Ryder got up from his bed and stretched out, the thought of Dylon coming to Adventure Bay was still in his mind.
"He definitely has some evil plan that he's bringing with him" Ryder said, his body giving a shiver.

Ryder shook the thoughts from his head, trying to start his day good. He opened the door to his room and saw the pups walking into the Lookout and Lily getting out.
"Morning pups and Lily" Ryder said. "Good morning Ryder" the pups and Lily said.
After washing up, everyone met in the kitchen for breakfast.

The pups were munching their pup-food while Ryder and Lily were eating sausage with eggs. "Pups, Lily told me something last night" Ryder said. "What did she tell you?" Rocky asked.
"Dylon is coming to Adventure Bay" Ryder announced.
"WHAT?!" the pups gasped. "What are you going to do?" Rubble asked. "There is nothing for me to do. As long as he doesn't harm anyone in Adventure Bay, Mayor Goodway can't kick him out" Ryder said.

After breakfast, Ryder decided to upgrade his ATV. While he worked on upgrading it, Lily tended to Cloud.
She fed Cloud some apples and then let her graze the grass in the backyard.
While Cloud grazed, Lily tossed a tennis ball for Rubble, Skye and Marshall. Chase, Zuma and Rocky were at the bay, surfing on the waves. Zuma showed off his amazing surfing tricks.

Ryder was busily upgrading his ATV when his pup-pad started ringing. He took it out of his pocket and answered the call.
Katie appeared on the screen. "Hey Katie, what's up?" Ryder asked. "I need you here urgently" Katie said, her face expression very worried.
"I was snow-boarding with Cali on the slopes of Jake's Mountain when Cali accidentally went off course. She's snow-boarding far away, and Jake is unable to keep up with her to save her.
Cali is heading toward a cliff and that'll be a dead end, because she's gonna fall" Katie explained.

"We're on our way" Ryder said, "no job is too big, no pup is too small". "PAW Patrol to the Lookout!" Ryder called.
"Ryder needs us" Rubble, Skye, and Marshall said. "For what?" Lily asked. "A rescue" Marshall said. "Come on Lily. This is perfect. You can see how we work" Skye said, as she ran off toward the Lookout.

"Bye Cloud" Lily kissed her horse the forehead and then ran off with the pups. Chase, Rocky and Zuma were also heading to the Lookout.
Everyone got in the elevator, Marshall being the last to get in.
On his way, he tripped on a chew-toy and went rolling into the elevator. Everyone moved aside, as Marshall crashed into the glass of the elevator.

"Are you okay?" Lily asked. "I'm okay" Marshall said, "things like this always happens to me when it's time to get in the elevator".
"Why?" Lily asked.
"Marshall is a clumsy pup" Rubble laughed. Lily giggled and petted Marshall on the head.
The elevator took to the top to the mission room.

Once it landed, the pups leaped out, lining up in formation infront of their leader. Lily stood aside, watching in amazement.
"PAW Patrol ready for action, Ryder sir!" Chase barked seriously. "Thanks for hurrying over pups" Ryder said, as he pressed a button on his pup-pad which brought down the big screen.

"Katie's cat Cali is in serious danger. Katie and Cali were snow-boarding on Jake's Mountain when Cali accidentally went off course.
She's now snow-boarding fast and heading toward a cliff which is a dead end.
Jake is unable to keep up with her so it's up to us to save Cali" Ryder explained.

"Poor Cali" Skye said. "For this rescue, I'll need Skye. Your gonna search for Cali from up high" Ryder said.
"This pups gotta fly!" Skye barked, performing a flip. "Chase, I need you to get ahead of Cali and deploy a net at the cliff for if Cali falls, she'll be caught by the net" Ryder explained.
"Chase is on the case!" the German Shepherd said.

"Lily, would you like to ride with me?" Ryder offered. "I really can?" Lily asked, her green eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Why not?" Ryder smiled. "Alright, PAW Patrol is on a roll!".
Chase and Skye went down the slide, whilst Ryder took his pole with Lily following.
They got in their vehicles and took off to Jake's Mountain.

"I'm really impressed with the way you guys work" Lily said, as she was sitting behind Ryder on his ATV. She was wearing an extra helmet, a purple and pink one.
"It's pretty impressive" Ryder said.

They came upon Jake's Mountain where Katie was at the top waiting for them.
"I'm so glad your....who's that?" Katie asked, her eyes landing on Lily who took her helmet off. "This is Lily, from Adventure City. She's staying with us at the Lookout until I introduce her to Mayor Goodway and find out where she'll live" Ryder said.

"Oh okay, nice to meet you Lily" Katie said. "Nice to meet you too, Katie" Lily said. "Skye" Ryder said. "Arf arf!" the cockapoo barked and then took the sky.

Skye hovered around the mountain, searching for Cali. She zoomed in her goggles and spotted a cat snow-boarding.
"Ryder, I see Cali" Skye said, "she's almost to the cliff. Hurry!". "Great job Skye" Ryder said.

Ryder hopped on his ATV while Chase got in his police truck. "Lily, wanna come?" Ryder asked. "Sure" Lily said, getting on behind Ryder.
Ryder and Chase started driving down the slopes.
Ryder pressed a snow icon on his pup-pad, "snowmobile" he said. His ATV transformed into a snowmobile. "This is so cool" Lily said.

Chase got ahead of Ryder and drove down to the cliff. At the cliff, there were two trees standing apart.
He halted his vehicle close to the cliff. "Ruff, net!" Chase barked. His net cannon came out and deployed a net that stretched across the trees.

"Meow!" a fearful mew came. Chase saw Cali coming toward the net with Ryder on her tail.
Cali hit the net and bounced back.
"Great job, Chase!" Ryder praised. "Thanks Ryder" Chase said. Ryder got off of his ATV and grabbed Cali.
He took her snow-board off. "Cali's gonna ride with you Chase. I don't have space on my ATV" Ryder said.

"Okay" Chase said, as Ryder put Cali in Chase's police vehicle. "AHHH-CHOOO!" Chase sneezed. "Kitten allergies" Chase shook his head. "He has allergies to cats?" Lily asked.
"Yeah, he does" Ryder said.

They brought Cali safe and sound to Katie. She thanked the PAW Patrol for saving her cat. Ryder, the pups and Lily headed back to the Lookout.
On that evening, Ryder introduced Lily to Mayor Goodway. She gave Lily permission to stay in Adventure Bay, so Lily chose to stay in a house that was close to the horse ranch.

Meanwhile, in the Adventure Bay Airport, a plane landed. Passengers started flooding out, but one passenger in particular emerged from the plane, Dylon.
"I can't wait to see how Ryder reacts to seeing me after two years" Dylon said, sneering evilly.
