"Your right, Lily" Ryder said, "after he made that deal with Mayor Goodway and got a free rocket ship, a few days later, he disappeared and so did the rocket. He must've launched it into space". "What are you gonna do?" Lily asked. "I don't know. I have to think" Ryder said. "Whenever you think of a plan, let me know. I'm gonna be your backup" said Lily. "I'll let you know as soon as I think of a plan. Thanks Lily" Ryder smiled.
"No problem" Lily smiled back.
On that stormy night, Ryder lay in his bed staring at the ceiling. His mind had sunken deep into thought of a plan to get his pups who were in space.
Suddenly he heard the Lookout's doors open. Ryder sat up in his bed, all his senses on full alert. He then heard Pup Pup Boogie.
Ryder's blood froze in his veins, his eyes were wide with fear, and his face was painted pale.
"Who is playing Pup Pup Boogie?" he whispered. Ryder started feeling lonely, scared and terrified by the noises he was hearing.

The Lookout's doors opened again, as if the intruder left. "I have to go check what's going on" Ryder whispered, trying to find his courage.
He grabbed a flashlight from the small table besides his bed.
Ryder got out of bed and took in a deep breath, trying to find the courage to leave his room. He cracked open his door and peeked out.
Stepping one foot silently out of his room, Ryder's keen brown eyes were on alert scanning the dark and still surroundings. He made it to the TV room and turned off Pup Pup Boogie.

"Whoever has just came in the Lookout, show yourself. I'm not afraid" Ryder was standing in the dark TV room with his flashlight in his hand.
A shiver ran up Ryder's spine, as he started heading to the doorway of the Lookout. Ryder almost screamed when he saw footprints near the doorway. They were made from mud, the footprints were large and had only two toes.
"Something is lurking around here" Ryder whispered.
It was a dead silent night, the only noises penetrating through the silence were the splatters of rain and the heavy beats of Ryder's terrified heart.

The Lookout's doors opened and Ryder glanced outside real quick. But it was pitch dark to see anything.
Ryder immediately got back in and rushed to his room, then closed the door. He breathed heavily after his creepy exploration around the Lookout. "I wish I had my pups with me" he said.

The next day brought relief as daylight wasn't creepy like nighttime. Ryder stretched out in his bed and yawned. "Another day without seeing my pups. How can I start my day without seeing adorable faces?" Ryder got out of bed and opened his room.
The muddy footprints from last night were still there, they were dried and crusty. Ryder walked up to them and kneeled down.
He rubbed his hand on the footprints and looked at them for a while. "I wonder what kind of creature made these" Ryder wondered.

After having breakfast, Ryder washed and scrubbed away the crusty mud prints.
Just as he finished cleaning the floor, his pup-pad began ringing. Ryder slipped his hand in his pocket and took his pup-pad out. Lily was calling.
"Hey Lily, what's up?" Ryder asked. "Ryder, I need your help" Lily's once shiny green eyes were fogged with fear and nervousness.
"How can I help?" asked Ryder.
"Cloud is going wild in her stall" Lily started. "Last night, she started neighing at 12:00pm which is very unusual. I thought she might be hungry so I gave her a snack and then petted her. After I went back in my house, she started neighing again and then kicking the walls of her stall. She's been acting weird as if she's distressed about something".

"I'm on my way" Ryder said. "Please hurry, I don't want Cloud to hurt herself" Lily worriedly said. Ryder put his pup-pad back in his pocket. "A mission without my pups? I don't how I'm gonna do this" Ryder left the Lookout and walked into his garage.
But as Ryder entered the gloomy garage, the vibe inside didn't feel right. It was as if Ryder felt someone was inside and watching him. Suddenly an faint sound, similar to a wolfs howl yet monstrous, rang lowly through the garage.
