Chapter 12

The second alien on the scene was a navy blue one, slightly smaller than the black one. He was muscular, with an even body unlike most aliens who have uneven bodies.
He had two medium almond-shaped eyes, both white and without a pupil. His teeth were thin, yet strong and sharp and they were even, not all sticking out of his mouth.
(This navy blue alien looks quite similar to Venom, if you've watched the movie Venom, then you'll know what I'm talking about)

The navy blue alien dashed toward the black one and bit him on the neck. The two aliens started engaging in a deadly combat.
Ryder though completely shocked, terrified and surprised, got up from where the black alien had knocked him.
He backed off as two monstrous aliens fought furiously. The navy blue one threw the black one onto the grass. "Go back to where you came from and don't ever touch that kid" the alien said in his deep voice. Ryder was taken aback by shock. How could an alien speak? Perhaps some know how to speak. "You might have won this fight, but my master has another plan" the black one spoke in his evil voice.

"I don't care about your plans" the navy blue alien said. He let go of the black one and the black one then ran off. The navy blue alien watched him disappear, then turned to Ryder who was in shock and terror by everything he had just witnessed.
The moon had now risen above Adventure Bay but very few stars twinkled in the black sky.
Ryder's pup-pad started ringing, he knew it was Katie who was calling, but he had no time to answer her call.

The navy blue alien walked up to Ryder. Ryder backed off in fear of the giant alien, who stood eight feet above him. "No need to worry kid. My name is Phantom" the alien said.
"M-my name is R-Ryder" Ryder stammered. "Stop being nervous. I'm not a bad alien like ninety nine percent of aliens. So who are you, kid?" Phantom asked.
Ryder started feeling more comfortable around Phantom. "Well, I'm the rescuer of this town, which goes by the name Adventure Bay. I lead a rescue team called the PAW Patrol which is made up of six pups. But my pups have been pup-napped by a villain named Dylon who is now in space and has my pups" Ryder explained.

"Your an extraordinary kid" Phantom said. "As you know my name is Phantom. I live on the planet Saturn but my home has been attacked by a horde of aliens. I had no where to go because all planets had been conquered by evil aliens. The only planet left was planet Earth. So I came down to earth and used my invisibility power to get around, until today I have stumbled across here".
"You have an invisibility power?" Ryder asked in amazement. "Yeah, most aliens have abilities but I just found out that I have the most extraordinary" Phantom proudly said.

Ryder had so many questions to ask Phantom. The two of them sat on the bench and fell deep into a conversation. "Why did you save me from that alien?" Ryder asked.

"I had been watching you as you were sitting here for hours. You seemed lonely, stress and sad, just like me. All of my friends on planet Saturn had been killed by the army of evil aliens, I was the only fortunate one to escape because I used my power of invisibility.
When that bad alien jumped out of the bushes and started attacking you, that's when I became visible and jumped from that tower to save you, because I thought you would be a good companion for me" Phantom explained.

"That tower is the Lookout, by the way" Ryder said. "My situation and your situation is quite comparable" Phantom continued to speak. "So I was thinking, what about we team up together and take back what is ours".
"Your really gonna help me get back my pups?" Ryder asked.
"I know how it feels to lose those you love. I loved my friends, but now...Phantom came to a halt. He sighed sadly and looked at the grass. "Now...their all dead" his voice trembled.
Ryder felt bad for Phantom.
"Imagine if my pups had been killed, I wouldn't have been able to live without them. I would be destroyed and devastated forever. I would even quit my job as a rescuer. I would even leave Adventure Bay" Ryder thought.
