As I tried to wake up this morning, it felt like my eyes were glued shut, which freaked me out a little bit. It didn't help with me waking up in a strange environment; not used to being in that room again, but at least it was familiar. I looked outside my window to see it still dark and sprinkling, then to the clock on my wall. 9:23. I slept for nearly 11 hours. I hadn't slept that much in a single night since I got drunk for the first time. In fact, I was in such a deep sleep that Grace had come into my room with a laundry basket full of my folded clothes from the night before, and I hadn't even noticed. I rolled out of my warm bed and grabbed the first two things out of my laundry basket that I could wear; Low rise black cargos, and a lacy, black, cropped tank, and no bra. Cause who gives a shit? I threw those on, made my bed, and tidied my hair up a little bit. I threw on my second pair of shoes on that was in my bag, which were some chunky combat boots. Then, I walked out of my room and headed towards the living room, and as I was, I heard two voices. Very familiar voices.

"You're seriously gonna do this today?" I heard a voice say as I walked down the stairs, getting closer to the foyer, "Way to dress for the occasion, by the way."

"At least I'm wearing black." A deep voice said, going up the stairs from the foyer, getting close to me.

A few seconds later, Diego and I were face to face after he walked up the stairs. He stopped and looked at me for a moment before scoffing and bumping my shoulder as he walked by. Long story short, he has been mad at me for years because I took his spot in the IPD. But really, he did so many things that were illegal and not permitted that he got himself kicked out.

"You know what? I- Maybe he's right. And I shouldn't-"

I interrupted Vanya, "When has Diego ever been right when it comes to anything?" I walked to the edge of the balcony to see my sisters for the first time in over a decade.

Vanya sighed and a smile came to her face, "Y/N.."

"Hey girls, been a minute." I smiled, then turned to walk down the stairs.

Allison walked toward me with a good expression on her face, "You look-"

"-The same? Yeah, the only thing that's changed since we all moved out is a few wrinkles." I gave Allison a tight hug, then moved to Vanya, "Hi."

"Hi." She whispered back, then pulled me in for a hug.

"I'm glad you two are here, it'll bring me a little sanity with our chaotic family." I smiled at the both of them, "I'm not trying to cut things short, but I seriously need some caffeine if I have to deal with everyone."

"Can't blame you there." Allison shrugged.

I walked over to the kitchen and scavenged for some coffee, there wasn't any anywhere. I don't even know why I bothered, Dad hated it anyway. However, he did have a drawer with tea. I grabbed two packets of black tea and started to boil some water.

5 minutes later, the water boiled and I grabbed a cup before pouring the water and putting the tea packets in. I walked back towards the living room as I blew on my hot drink, and started to overhear Vanya and Pogo talking.

"How long has it been since Five disappeared?" Vanya asked as the both of them gazed at the portrait of him over the fireplace.

"It's been 16 years, 4 months and 14 days. Your father insisted I keep track." Pogo smiled.

I walked into the living room and butted in on their conversation, "You guys wanna know a funny story? A couple months before he disappeared, I went downstairs to get a snack one night, and he showed up too. We both made a sandwich, and then Pogo almost caught us."
