After All This Time

Chapter Seventeen

The academy started to shake.

More.

And more.

Five and I sat up immediately, as he grabbed my hand and rushed us out of the observatory's door. We went down the first flight of stairs as the walls started to crack. We ran down the hallway to go down another flight of stairs until we stopped dead in our tracks.

Vanya was looking into Ben's room, her eyes white. As she stopped for a moment and then walked away, blowing up the room.

Pieces of the wall exploded and Five sheltered me from the pieces of the room, we then ran down the stair case and blinked us out of the crumbling mansion. Vanya  continued to look into our rooms and explode them.

We blinked to a few houses down from ours. Our eyes wide from shock as we caught our breath. Five turned his head to me, looking for any sign of injury.

"Are you ok?!" He panted.

I caught my breath and nodded quickly. "I told you she had powers."

We ran to our house, and stood in front of it as we watched it shake, the walls cracking.

Until it mysteriously stopped. 

Five and I see Luther and Allison run out of the front door.

I let go of Five's hand and rushed to them.

"Are you guys ok?!" I asked with urgency in my voice.

"Yes, we are fine. You and Five?" Number one asked.

"Yeah, yeah we're ok."

"You were right Y/N. She does have powers."

The academy started to shake again, but even more this time. Chunks of the building started to come down. Windows shattering.

Five walked up to the three of us. "Yeah, no shit. Now we better back up just incase the place goes down."

We all back away from the doors of the academy to the beginning of the street.

"What about Klaus and Diego?" I yelled as I looked around the house.

"I don't know yet." Luther exclaimed.

I then see Vanya walking towards to door of the academy.

"Shit! Come on guys!" We ran to alleyway before she saw any of us and hid.

Just as she exited the mansion, it all collapsed. There was a giant chunk of cement that was about to hit our heads.

Using most of the strength I had, I moved it with my telekinesis and threw it to the side of us. Making my nose bleed once again. 

We turn around to see Diego and Klaus yelling for Mom. But it was too late. The academy was destroyed.

Diego ran on top of all the cement pieces of the house and started to dig. "Mom! Mom, Mom! Klaus come here. Help me search-"
