After All This Time

Chapter Eight

Five and I made it to his room. I collapsed onto his bed letting out a sigh. He quickly took Delores out of the bag and sat her on a near by chair. I sat up from his bed, to see him taking off his blazer and shirt.

"What are you doing?" I ask him.

I then see a blood stain on his office shirt.

"You're bleeding..." I say with worry.

Five then unbuttoned his shirt to reveal him in a tank top. I slightly blushed at the sight and then quickly turned my head away.

"Could you go and get the supplies for stitches out of the bathroom cabinet Y/N?"

I quickly turned my head to look at him and nod before going to the bathroom and getting the supplies. A few minutes later, I entered the room and sat on the bed, putting the things on his nightstand.

"Come and sit." 

Five walked to the bed and sat sown next to me. 

"Oh shit..."

"You think its that bad?"

"I mean its across your arm. When did this happen?" I said as I cleaned around the wound.

"Whenever you approached Hazel, I was running close to a shelf and the metal it was made of cut my shoulder."

"Hazel? That's the big guys name?"

"Yes. The other one's name is Cha cha."

I grabbed the acetone and wet a dabbing pad to disinfect the wound, the sizzling sound of it made me cringe. I threaded the string stuff through the curved needle.

"You ready?"

Five took a deep breath. "Yeah."

 I grabbed his arm to steady my working space as I took the needle and started sewing it through his wound, pulling his skin back together.

I could tell he was trying to be tough because he only grunted every once in a while. 

A couple minutes later I did the last stitch.

"I'm sorry. That looked super painful." I grabbed a band aid and put it on top of the stitch.

"Its fine, I've been through worse... And why did you yell when you distracted Cha cha?"

"Oh, she drop kicked me and I fell. That's why." I lied, not wanting to worry him.

"You sure?"

"Positive."

Five got up and put new clothes on as I sat there waiting for him.

"So, Delores is that important to you, huh?"

"What do you mean?" He said as he put on his tie.

"Well considering that you put both of our lives in jeopardy the save her, she must be really important to you."

"Well, yes. She was the only Company I had for 45 years."
