Prologue
[Rafael's POV]
"Oh Raf, faster! Uhmmm...Ohhh..." I thrusted deeper and rocked Olivia even harder while backing her against my door's sleeping quarter. I needed to be quick. I have a schedule in OR in ten minutes. I pulled her legs even closer that were circled around my waist and pounded furiously.
"Ohh Ohhh!!Ahhhh!"
"Sssshhhh keep it low, Liv..." I whispered against her earlobe and covered her mouth with my hand.
"Ummmm...uhmmm..." she whined but her voice was muffled by my hand.
"That's right...I'm coming..." I groaned and jerked at my delicious release. After that, I wasted no time. Ibinaba ko si Olivia. I took off my condom, tinapon iyon sa basurahan at pinulot ang pares ng nahubad kong scrub suit.
"That was so hot, gorgeous. I'll see you after OR?" Olivia purred seductively. I guess, she was not busy for an anesthesiologist.
"I'm afraid I won't be free after the OR, Liv," I said while fixing the garter of my pants. My beeper will ring any moment soon. I can't be late. "I'm heading," I kissed her cheek and stormed out of the door.
"Raf, wait!"
"I'LL CLOSE the dura for you, Doctor Montero. I'll take care of this. Go and do your thing." Mason looked at me teasingly. He knew that I have never left my operating table until the closing time especially when he's my partner.
"Stop talking Mase and take out that cotton inside the cavity so we can close it."
"Whatever you say, doc." He added jokingly and removed the cotton soaked with hydrogen peroxide inside the cavity where I got the nasty sixty-millimeter brain tumor.
"What now? I thought you're going to close this?" I asked when he didn't move a hand after removing the cotton ball. Let see what you got buddy. Mason has never even perfected nor finished a craniotomy on his own even with my supervision. Such an arrogant yet coward dickhead.
"I thought you won't let me?" he asked, his voice now tinge with apprehension.
"Take the hemostatic agent and cover the site now. You only have ten minutes to finish this surgery. If you're not going to make it. I won't let you scrub in my operating table again."
"Ten minutes? Are you fucking kidding me, man?! I'm not you!"
"Move it, Mase. The clock's ticking," I said looking at the huge digital clock above us. I put my bloody hands in thin air.
"Hell!" He grumbled while taking the hemostatic agent. Ni hindi na siya magkanda ugaga sa paglagay ng agent sa cavity ng tumor. His placement was terrible. The suctioning was terrible and messy, too. He can't suture the dura like this. Ten minutes and he was still about to prepare the suture.
"Leave now Mase. I'm done with you," balewala kong sabi. I removed the hemostatic agent that he placed. I cleaned the cavity thoroughly before placing it back again.
"Dude come on! You're not serious with the ten minutes," Mason whined but I completely ignored him.
"Prepare for closing," I told Rita, my scrub nurse. "Vital signs?"
"All good, doc," replied Lara my anesthesiologist.
I did the suturing, the placement of the synthetic dura, and the bone flap in record time.
