[Ari's POV]

My level of anxiety has reached to heights kahit anong sabi ni Rafael na mag relax na ako a week before exam at tigilan na ang pagbabasa at pagsagot sa mga practice exams pero ginawa ko pa rin.

And I ended up being so frustrated dahil sa scores na nakuha ko. I didn't pass my practices at pakiramdam ko hindi ko na mapapasa ang exam ko.

" I failed the exams, Rafael!" I shouted, with my hands trembling habang nagpupunas ng luha. "B-bakit ang b-baba.... pa rin...? If these are my scores ngayon pa lang what will be my scores during the actual exam?!" napasinghot kong singhal sa kanya.

I didn't plan on calling and ranting at him pero pakiramdam ko mababaliw na ako sa pagaalala at sama ng loob dahil sa nakuhang scores. Tsaka, siya lang naman ang pwede kong kausapin na alam kong hindi ako huhusgahan.

" Baby, calm down. Having those scores now won't guarantee your failure. You were doing so great last--"

" Doc, excuse po. May emergency po VA, may head trauma raw po." A woman's voice interrupted him. Parang boses ni Nurse Lia.

"One minute, baby. Please stay on the line. I won't take a while. Wait for me, okay?" he whispered tenderly.

I sniffed. " Uhmm..."

" I love you..." dagdag niya at naramdaman kong parang tinanggal niya ang cellphone sa tenga pero pinakinggan ko pa rin iyon kahit sobrang hina ng boses niya. Idinikit ko pa lalo iyon sa tenga ko.

"I'm going to leave now, Nurse Lia. May importante akong pupuntahan. I will talk to Doctor Zamora to manage that patient with Doctor Magallen..."

May parang sinabi pa siya pero masyado na iyong mahina.

Tapos narinig kong may parang pintuang bumukas.

" Baby..." untag niya.

"R-rafael may operation ka ba?"

"No baby, it's fine now. Will you wait for me? I won't take--

" No!" hindi ko nabantayang naisigaw ko iyon . " No, I mean, stay there...I'll be okay...I'm sorry for bothering and calling you..."

"Aria, it's fine. Doctor Zamora can take care of that operation. Are you craving for--"

" Rafael!" I cut him off again. " Mickay is still a resident she can't be left without the head surgeon pati si Doctor Magallen..."

He heaved out. " Aria, she will manage."

" H-how can you be sure? Sa'yo ang balik niyan if may maging problema..." paninigurado ko.

" I trust her, baby. She's far better than any resident neurosurgeons here. Stop worrying, okay? Anong gusto mong kainin?"

Now that he asked ang dami kong gustong kainin. Naubos ko na nga ang granola bars ko dahil wala akong ibang mangatngat sa stress ko.

To hell with diet!

"Can you bring me a supreme pizza that mixes all the flavors, chicken buffalo wings yung spicy, lasagna, burger with a double beef patty and large fries, tacos with fresh tomatoes, not the tomato sauce ha? Chicken shawarma pero not the mayo ha? Gusto ko iyong yogurt ang sauce....ferrero, toblerone but the milk flavor, almonds, and pistachio nuts...." I stopped at inisip kung ano pa ang idagdag ko.

"Noted, baby. Anything else?" there was a hint of humor in his voice.

"Uhmm... please include chips, almond chocolate ice cream and imported beers."
