A/N: Smut ahead. I'm warning you. For me, smuts are crucial when it affects the relationship between the two characters and gives more depth to the story. Hope you understand.
Chapter 38: More promises (M)
"Park Jimin is from the Busan Park family."
Words hit Jungkook like a truck or even harder. He looks at Jimin with his phone still attached to his ear. Not knowing what to do or say, he stares at Jimin blankly.
"Sir? Are you there?"
"Do you know who his mother is?"
"Sir, we're working on that, even though it's difficult when they have secret bodyguards around all the time."
"Do whatever it takes. I'll reach out to you later." Jungkook suddenly hangs up the phone. He wishes it's not Jimin who's Park Minjung's son. He wishes Jimin is not related closely to her. Now all the information comes back to him. Jimin's mom was called names. Jimin also mentioned she's an addict. Gambling can be an addiction. He still hopes. Hope that Jimin is not at all related to her. It's still possible, right? God wouldn't be that cruel.
Jungkook takes some time to prep talk to himself silently. Trying his best to avoid the possibility, he's not doing good since it makes more sense on the other side.
"Hyung?" Jimin's voice wakes him up from his thoughts. "Is everything alright? Are you ok?"
He looks at Jimin who's looking back at him confusingly. "Jimin." He calls the younger one as he walks towards the kitchen stool Jimin is sitting on.
"Hmm?"
Jungkook doesn't say anything else. He's not sure what he would even say. Jungkook then grabs Jimin who's about to stand up. Grabbing Jimin by both of his thighs, lifting him up before he pins Jimin against the wall.
"Hyung, what's going o-"
"You are mine, Jimin." Jungkook cut him off with his words in an unusually serious manner. "You're mine no matter what."
