Chapter 73: Don't let go

(A/N: Just to remind how hazing camp goes since this story has been going on for a while. In the hazing camp system, everyone would be divided into groups, there are around 14 - 16 groups. That depends on the number of the students. The first two weeks on campus, they would gather up in each group they're assigned to. Freshman will be taken care of by sophomores. Freshman, they will be pampered by all the older years since they're the youngest by the year of their admission. They have no job other than getting to know new friends and their seniors and just have fun. There are performances that they need to do as a group. There are hazing camp short songs the whole faculty would dance and sing together. Sophomores are meant to take care of their freshmen. There are different roles in each group. Mcs, medic, security, food, etc. Junior and senior are mostly about management. For example, they'll be in charge of stocking medicine for each group. They also create activities in each station to entertain freshmen. On the second night, they'll be giving performances too.)

Jimin's second hazing camp has been going smoothly. The activities are mostly like last year's hazing camp. Jimin thought he's going to be bored since he hasn't had the energy to participate in anything lately. Surprisingly, Jimin has a good time being the medic of their group. So far, no one fainted. There's no injury. All Jimin has been doing is to hand some facial tissues and inhaler to the sweating freshman during activities in each station. It's not the weather, but it's the activities themself that require those freshmen to move a lot.

Walking in hurry with packs of facial tissues in his hands, Jimin lets out a sigh. He forgets that he should get more cool inhalers for his group. He's walking back to the nursing room again. It's quite exhausting for him to be a medic, in a good way though. It feels nice. It has been nice taking care of others. Jimin feels like he can forget pain and frustrations since the place itself brings back memories with Jungkook.

The camp is happening at the same place as last year. Jungkook got praised publicly when everyone arrived, for providing such comfortable accommodation.

Foodhall reminded Jimin of how jealous he was when Jungkook met his Dara nuna and how Jungkook prepared some food for him. How uncomfortable it was to feel things for Jungkook, the man who got into the cold water with him when Dara nuna tried to punish him for not being still in one of the stations during the camp. Oh, and how Jungkook stood up for him by taking him into his group because his group doesn't have any strict rules if Jimin was not comfortable dancing.

Jimin still remembers the unfamiliar feeling and discomfort when Jungkook took care of him both at the campus and at the camp. Those big doe eyes always steal glances. The glances that cause Jimin's heart to beat fast.

The first time Jungkook held him from behind. How Jimin himself asked for a cuddle which makes him feel so pathetic to think about it now. For asking and for never getting cuddles from his mother. Well, his parents must have cuddled him to sleep when he was very young, but he must be too young to still remember it.

Cuddling is quite addictive. He shouldn't have asked for it. It should have been better not to know how good it felt, so his body wouldn't feel like it's being crushed whenever he longs for warmth. The whole place reminds Jimin of how warm it was to have Jungkook with him. Their kisses. Their first time opening up about their feelings.

Jimin used to have this thought about him and Jungkook kissing at the campfire. 'If you kiss someone at the campfire, you'll be together for good.' This kind of belief felt stupid for Jimin back then, but it became different when he had Jungkook around. Now the idea is stupid again. For good? It barely lasted a year.

Chuckling at the memories, Jimin is not sure where this thing with Jungkook would go. Now he only knows that he has medic duty to do. Good distraction.
