Chapter 61: Won't let go

"Please don't do anything crazy like coming on my bed. You know I can file a report, and I'll seriously do it."

Not affected. Jimin decides to not block or chase Jungkook away. Revenge used to be an option. Wouldn't it be so much easier to just throw things, shout and yell at Jungkook? He even thought of dating someone just to show Jungkook that he can get over Jungkook so easily, but what's the point in doing that? Why play stupid game with someone who doesn't even care?

Plus, all those things would only mean Jimin is still hurt. Being mad at Jungkook would only make him feel like he's giving a piece of himself to Jungkook. Don't want to be touched. Don't want to get close. Don't want to feel.

Jimin thought through things. Kicking Jungkook out of his life is not possible. They're still going to see each other through their friends. Why should he stop hanging out with others just because Jungkook is there?

"No! You're not sleeping. Not until we finally talk." A glimpse of anger starts to take over Jungkook.

"We have nothing to talk about. I don't have anything to talk about." Jimin says as he turns around, walking upstairs, but he's stopped by Jungkook.

Grabbing Jimin's arm to turn back around, Jungkook grabs a glass in Jimin's hand. He drags Jimin back to the living room. There's a whimper being heard, and Jungkook knows that he's pressing the pressure on Jimin's arm way too hard.

"Let go of me. I can file a report about this."

"File all the reports you want. For stalking you back in Jeju or for touching you without permission. I don't care." Jungkook places a glass on the kitchen counter with the other hand still holding Jimin.

"Jungkook. Let go." Jimin says calmly.

Jungkook? Still Jungkook and not hyung?

"Stop calling me that! It's hyung!." Jungkook actually shouts this time, and he's not blind by his anger, he would feel how Jimin's arm jerks a little in his hand, flinching. "It was real. You know my feelings for you were real. Us was real. It's still real." Jungkook says as he grabs both of Jimin's shoulders tightly. "Oh my god. Can you look at me? At least look at me!" It feels like he can't break into that wall Jimin builds up at all. Extremely irritating.

No expression is being shown on Jimin's face as he shifts his gaze at Jungkook. "It's no longer real for me." Letting the taller one grab his shoulders, Jimin doesn't care about the pain Jungkook is causing. This is not the most painful thing Jungkook's done to him. "You should forget about it. I mean. It's already over since when? A month ago?"

"Jimin!"

"Jungkook, I mean it. It was just... Well, I don't know. A fling?"

"It was only a fling to you?"

"It wasn't only a fling to you?" Jimin asks, looking into Jungkook's eyes. "Because I could tell by the way you were. It didn't mean anything to you. It's understandable when someone acts all sweet just to get into someone's pants. I won't look back at it. It's just my bad experience."

"How can you say that?" How can Jimin talk about it as if it really meant nothing to him?

"I don't even want to know why you were the way you were. I'm tired of this shit, seriously. It's not fun anymore." Jimin moves a little as he succeeds in getting out of Jungkook's hold.

"It's not about fun. Can you come back to me, Jimin? We can be in that relationship. We'll support each other. We'd spend time with each other. I'll be by your side, and we will always cuddle. Lots of cuddles whenever you ask. What can I do to have you back?"

"I don't want those things anymore. I'm fine by myself. Stop painting those surrealistic pictures in the sky for me. I won't fall for it anymore." Jimin then turns around.

"You can't do this." Jungkook raises his voice again. "Jimin!" Calling out to the smaller one who doesn't stop walking. "Park Jimin!"

Jimin then stops. Not by Jungkook calling but by the sound of the glass breaking on the floor. Yes, Jungkook just threw a glass on the floor. Turning his head around, looking at the shattered pieces of glass. "Are you going to clean up that mess?"

"You have no right." Jungkook's pair of big doe eyes turn darker. Who wouldn't be mad? Jimin, not being affected, hits painfully. "You have no right to walk away. You don't have any right to end our thing. I won't allow that."

"You have no right to tell me what to do." Jimin walks back down the stairs, going straight to the broomstick and napkins. He calmly cleans the glass on the floor. "It's not only up to you. I don't want this anymore. Can't you understand?" Jimin says as he throws the pieces on glass in the trash.

"You're mad at me. You're extremely angry at me that you act like us never happened. That way you can hurt me. You're smart, Park Jimin. So smart that you won't blame me. You won't throw any anger at me because it can hurt me more to act like I don't mean anything to you."

Letting out a sigh, Jimin walks back to Jungkook. "I'm going to say this one last time. It's over. I'm not trying to hurt you or get revenge. I'm not mad at you anymore. I don't want anything from you. If you plan to continue living here, you can. We can live with each other peacefully, but we will never be the same. I've made a decision. We can forget about what happened and go on with our lives."

"It really didn't mean anything at all to you? My effort meant nothing? You don't believe that my actions were real? You don't miss us at all? Because I'm missing us like crazy. Jimin, I'm going crazy."

"It's exhausting. I don't want us anymore."

"Are you serious about this?"

"I am serious about this. I'm going to finally sleep. Please respect my privacy." Jimin says before he turns around, but Jungkook stops him again.

Caging Jimin against the wall, Jungkook just stares right into Jimin's eyes. "You, Park Jimin. You listen to me. You're mine. Only mine. You will always belong to me, and that's the only option for you because we promised at my mother's grave. You're not going to get away from me. It's not happening. You don't have that right. Note that into your brain. You have no right." Jungkook says before he grabs his phone and jacket, walking out of the room, furiously, leaving Jimin to stand still at the same spot.
