"Mom tell me what I must do to get you to treat me equally, please there must be something," Seraphina pleaded, her big brown eyes desperately looking at her mom hoping there was a way.
Anything that would make her mom no longer see her as a disappointment to the family.
"Fine, you really want me to treat you equally. Fall in love with someone and I will."
With that Aphrodite turned around and walked off to attend her duties, her beautiful golden dress trailing behind her as she went.

Seraphina Valentine is the daughter of Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and Beauty.
She is also the daughter of Hephaestus, God of fire and blacksmiths.
Hence her name. Seraphina meaning "Fiery one" and Valentine associated with "Love".
One thing is, even though half of her name is true as her attitude isn't exactly the best, Seraphina doesn't believe in love.
So when her mother told her the only why she'd ever be equal to her siblings was to fall in love, she realized the task wasn't going to be easy.
Actually, nearly impossible.
