What a place, I was enjoying myself so much, even if we were just shopping. I had already found stuff for the children. I got a really great homemade leather bracelet for Vanessa, it looked just her type too. Shelly laughed at me when I asked if I could take it home on the plane because it was made of hemp. "Hemp is not illegal!" She said snickering at me.

I got a tee-shirt for Max and a stuffed dolphin for Libby. Well at the leather workers hut I saw a lovely wallet for my father with the coastline carved into it. It was pretty expensive but since I was here because of him I knew he deserved it. After shopping at, at least five different stores she was still having trouble finding what she was looking for. We finally gave up and sat down at this little cafe for lunch. "Damn, I was really looking forward to finding my dress today. I thought for sure I would find so many I would have a hard time even choosing."

The day is not over hun, we will find you the perfect dress." I wasn't sure how much help I could be. They say everyone gets that moment when you find the perfect wedding dress. When I married Elliott I didn't get any moment a dress was a dress to me. Of course I ended up looking like a disney princess once Shelly and her mom got done with me. I just went with their instinct, not really having much taste or preference myself.

"What do you suppose Ed is up to?"

"Probably trying to figure out how to use the television in his room."

"He doesn't need anything for the wedding?"

"No, he got his suit back home in the states."

"Ed is wearing a suit!" I couldn't believe it, I knew I had a shocked expression on my face.

"Yes he's wearing a suit. You know he cleans up pretty handsomely."

"I believe he does, I just always see him in his jumper from work all covered in grease or in jeans and a tee-shirt all covered in grease and oil."

"He's a good man, I'm pretty lucky to have snatched him up."

"I agree, he is pretty great and he puts up with a lot of our shenanigans. Besides, he is the first man that has been able to tame you."

"Ed hasn't tamed me honey, just helped me see what situations he appreciates my wild side coming out in!" She states as she pushes out her chest and purses up her lips.

" More than I needed to know!" After lunch we continued to shop a little more trying to find her the right dress. I didn't think it was possible but Shelly was becoming discouraged with shopping. I think she was about to give up. Me, I shocked myself. The maxi dress I was wearing was so comfortable that I had found a few more I really liked.

With no luck finding her a dress , we finally gave up for the day. It was time for dinner and we headed back to the bungalow to drop off the items that I had picked up for everyone, then went down to meet up with Ed.

Dinner went by rather quickly, Shelly was pretty quiet, bummed about not finding her dress. Ed was enjoying all the different foods on the buffett. I was just ready for bed. Not to mention I wanted to sneak away and call dad to check on the kids.

When I was too full to eat anymore I excused myself from the table. "Good night you guys. I am exhausted and ready for bed. Besides our first night here you probably want to go on a romantic walk or some crap. I will just be in the way." I gathered my things and hurried off before Shell could stop me.

After about four rings I was becoming increasingly upset. Why was dad not picking up the phone? "Hello." He finally answered. He sounded out of breath. "Hi dad, how are you?"

"Just got back from my morning jog before the kids woke up."

" Wait, what time is it there?"

"It's a little past six."
