A few hours into my afternoon I felt pretty accomplished. I was able to set up some good potential new client appointments. Then I was able to make phone calls that were scheduled for next week and clear up my to do list. I was able to finish up several quotes and get them emailed off to the Robinson's, Tanner's, Dajani's, and the O'Haver's. I dusted off my hands and turned off my tablet. Finally I felt like me again, for the first time since I landed on this island. Now I felt like I was relaxing on vacation.

Getting so much finished I figured I would reward myself with a swim in the pool. The water felt so good. It didn't take long though for my mind to flash back to Trent sitting on the side telling me everything I believed for sixteen years was a lie. I took it as a clue to get out of the pool. It was all good though I really wanted to call the kids before it got too late there for them.

"MOMMY!!!!" Libby was screaming into the phone. God, I missed her voice. I closed my eyes and pictured her warm smile. "I miss you so much! Are you having fun? Did you get me something cool? Oh my gosh, how was the wedding? Was Aunt Shelly a princess?"

"Slow down peanut. Yes to all the above and I really miss you and I will be home in about a week." Libby went on to tell me how she learned to do flips on the trampoline grandpa got them. She told me how her best friend got a puppy and she doesn't like it. "It jumps all over you. And it chewed up her new sneakers." I couldn't lie when I was relieved that she didn't ask for her own puppy. She told me that Vanessa was grounded and that grandpa got Max to clean his room.

"Shut up Libby I wanted to tell mom!" I could hear Max in the background yelling at her. I was glad to know things hadn't changed with me gone. "Hey mom."

"So you finally cleaned your room? How did your grandfather manage that?"

"He challenged me to a game of Injustice and he won. It was the terms of our bet. If I would have won I would've gotten a hundred dollars!"

"Grandpa beat you at a video game?" I only pretended to act like I knew what he was talking about. I had no idea what this Injustice was. Max continued to tell me about Vanessa being grounded and how he laughed as she tried to mow the lawn with her combat boots and black clothes and was sweating so bad. He did say that she was becoming a fair cook since she has to help make dinner every night. "Other than that she sits in her room blasting that crap music. You can hear it through the whole house."

"Then tell her to close her door."

"She can't. Grandpa took her door off the hinges and put it in the garage."

"Why did grandpa take her door?"

"Because she locked him out thinking she could get off the garage roof to see Aston. Lover boy should play more sports. He couldn't catch her when she jumped so she fell and made a loud bang when she landed in the hedges."

"Oh my god is she ok?"

"Yeah she just sprained her ankle. " Max was giving a very detailed description of the different purple colors her ankle turned. "Now it's a nasty baby poop yellow."

"Shut up fish face and give me the phone!!" Ahh there was my lovely Vanessa. "Hey mom, are you going to be home soon?"

"Why are you asking Vanessa? Because you miss me or because you want grandpa to go home?"

"Because having my life back to normal would be great. And I guess I miss you."

"Well I guess I will take that as a good thing. I will be heading home in a couple days"

"This sucks, you get to live it up on the beach and I have to live in prison."

"Vanessa honey, I am not living it up on the beach. This has actually been my first somewhat quiet relaxing day and I worked. As far as living in prison, you brought it on yourself. Trust me I know how hard grandpa can be."
