[Several Days Later]
It had been several days since Riddle's Overblot, or the 'Battle of the Roses' as the Heartslabyul residents called it.
Y/N, Whimsy, and Grim were invited as well, and this time, the Rose monsters of Y/N got to be part of the fun.
The trumpets sounded Riddle's arrival.
HEARTSLABYUL STUDENT A: Make way for our leader, the Red Ruler: Prefect Riddle!
HEARTSLABYUL STUDENTS: Three cheers for Prefect Riddle!
Riddle smiled. "Indeed. The roses are red and the tablecloths are white. Truly a perfect Unbirthday Party.
And the Dormouse is inside the teapot like planned… Well, I guess it doesn’t really matter now."
"You don’t have to change so suddenly, you know? And we can just use the jam on the scones, if you’d like. We don’t have to stop altogether at once. We can take things slowly." Trey advised.
" Yes, you’re right."
" In the end, we did all the cleaning up and preparations for today’s party…" Ace sighed tired.
"There, there. It couldn’t be helped since the Prefect had to recover." Deuce reminded them.
Cater smiled. "The garden’s back to being its photogenic self, so I’m already satisfied~"
" I wanna hurry up and eat~!" Grim said feeling hungry.
"Okay, then without further ado–" Cater started only for Riddle to stop him.
"Wait. That white rose…"
"Eh! Did we forget that one!?" Ace exclaimed.
"Aaahhhh!! Acey, Deucey, you said you painted them all red! Cater accused the duo.
"You’re blaming us!?" Deuce shouted.
But Riddle smiled. " I’m joking~ I won’t get mad over every little thing again…"
"You just wanted to get a reaction out of them? I guess you do have a playful side." Y/N smiled.
" It will be quicker if we all painted it, after all." Riddle suggested.
"Are you sure you’ve changed?" Ace asked.
" Now, now. Even so, it’s really… Yup, you’ve changed, huh, Riddle." Trey smiled.
"I can’t bear one second of this any longer! Let’s hurry up and start the party!" Grim complained.
"I can help with that. Red Rose Dragon, Ruddy Rose Witch, and Rose Fairy. You ready?" Y/N asked her familiars as they nodded and got to work. They flew over any white roses as they turned red to the amazement of the Heartslabyul residents.
"Wow, so cool!"
"If we had that, painting roses would be easy."
"All of them are ideal mascots for Heartslabyul too!"
"They colored all the roses red with such amazing speed… As expected from Y/N's familiars." Deuce smiled.
"It is amazing to watch." Trey agreed as Cater took pictures.
"Now then, everything’s ready. Let us begin our Unbirthday Party!" Riddle smiled.
He also led Y/N to a spot next to him with rosemary hibiscus tea. He asked Trey about what tea she like and found out through him while he was recovering.
" So what happened to the tart you made, Prefect?" Ace asked.
"Ah. I-I made some properly. Here, I made this strawberry tart." Riddle said.
Trey smiled. "Looks good. The shape looks a little bit out of sorts, but the nappage technique really brings out the shine in the strawberries.
It looks pretty good considering it’s your first time."
