At Main Street, Y/N spotted Ace and Deuce and walked over to them with Grim on her shoulder and Astral floating behind. On the way, Y/N told him about the college, dorms, and the Great Seven to avoid too many questions.
"Ace, Deuce, good morning!" Y/N smiled.
The duo turned at her voice.
"Oh hi-WHA?!" Ace exclaimed as he saw Astral.
"Wha-what kind of ghost is that?" Deuce pointed at Astral.
"Huh? Oh no, that's Astral. He's from space. He'll be sticking around me from now on. Astral, the ginger is Ace with the one with blue hair is Deuce." Y/N explained.
"Whoa, wait, you mean he's an alien?!" Ace and Deuce said at the same time.
"In simple terms, yes. And to be honest, no one else had been able to see me before the last time I interacted with humans." Astral said as other students passing by gaped at Astral.
"Maybe that's because the students here have magic, and somehow it allows them to see you as a result."
Y/N suggested.
"From the way Y/N puts it, it does make sense." Deuce said.
"Interesting. Observation #1: This world is vibrant in magic and the magic somehow allows the students and other magic-wielders to see me. Apparently they need to have a power that links them to the supernatural to do so. I need to remember that." Astral said to himself as the group headed for class.
"Observations?" Deuce asked.
"Get used to it. He's curious about humans to the point of naivety." Y/N said.
Timeskip...LOCATION: Cafeteria]
Thankfully, Astral hovered over the class at a safe distance so he would not be a distraction, but he listened and watched each class attentively.
Although he kept a real distance from Lucius since he was still nervous around cats.
" Ugh… I think the only magic Professor Trein can cast is one that makes his students fall asleep.
No matter how hard I struggle, I still end up sleepy!" Grim complained after morning classes.
"You fell asleep 5 minutes after the class started. You didn’t struggle at all." Astral said bluntly.
"Hey, I didn’t ask you! Besides, thanks to Y/N, I don't have to do that class and she gets to do the brainwork." Grim defended.
"It’s finally lunch~ What should I eat~?" Ace cheered as he saw a long line. "Huh… Looks like there’s a lotta people in the cafeteria today…" As he said that, a cafeteria ghost popped up.
"Today is a once-in-a-month special day! The famous bakery from the foot of the mountain is doing business here for the day! Early bird gets the worm, so go now if you don’t want the goods to sell out!" The ghost smiled.
"Is that one of the ghosts you told me about?" Astral asked Y/N who nodded.
HEARTSLABYUL STUDENT A: I’ll have 3 chocolate croissants!
HEARTSLABYUL STUDENT B: Score! I managed to buy some! This shop’s egg sandwich is seriously good~!
The cafeteria ghost then gasped. "The egg sandwich is already sold out! And there’s only one deluxe minced cutlet sandwich left!"
"Heh~ They all look good. I wonder what I should buy~" Ace asked himself.
"It looks very popular. What will you buy, Grim, Y/N, Astral?" Deuce asked.
"I actually don't need to eat. The key Y/N has is my resting place and I survive on the energy in there. But Grim is rushing to get that sandwich." Astral remarked pointing at the black cat rushing ahead.
