That night, Y/N looked over her schedule for the next day.
It would be Friday, but because of the Magift Tournament and the festival, it was a day off for the students to recover, especially those with injuries from the Tournament.
Well, maybe Y/N could put in some study time to look over notes because final exams would be coming before winter break.
"Hey, Y/N, it's getting late. You do need sleep after today." Whimsy said as Y/N was standing outside with her Duelist as Y/N had a cup of hot cocoa on a tray. For some reason, there was a pot with cocoa and another cup.
For some reason, Y/N was hoping to see the Diasomnia student again.
"Sure, I'll finish my drink and I'll be inside." Y/N nodded as the pink cat left.
Y/N returned to looking up at the stars as she suddenly heard footsteps.
"Hm? Oh, it's you again, Sakamoto. " The tall man said.
"Ah hi. To be honest I was hoping to see you again. Um, would you like some cocoa? It's still warm." Y/N smiled catching him by surprise.
"Oh, of course. I'll have some." He smiled.
"Well, congratulations on winning the tournament. To be honest, Grim knocked me out so I didn't see you play, but I heard your team did great." Y/N said giving him a mug.
"Ah, thank you, and I apologize if that happened. I saw your showcase performance, I thought it was very entertaining. Especially the monsters you command. A pity I won't be able to battle them next year." Draco said.
"I'm glad you liked it. But what do you mean by that?"
"Fourth years spend their last year away on internships, so they can't compete in the tournament. They won't return until February for business."
"I see.....Maybe if you would like, maybe you would like to come by tomorrow? Since you are curious about my monsters, I can tell you about them. I won't be going anywhere to be honest. My treat." Y/N smiled.
That caught Draco by surprise.
She.....
Was inviting him to something between them?
"Ah, that's, unexpected....but if you insist. I'll come by." He smiled. "Ah, it's getting late." He said as he finished his cup, giving it back. "I suggest you get a good night sleep young Summoner. Good night." Smiling, he vanished.
Although it was a short talk, Y/N smiled as she can't wait for tomorrow.
"Kitchen Dragonmaid. Remind the others to expect a new guest tomorrow. "
"Of course."
