While walking through the Beacon hallways, which I vaguely remember because I have been here before, I suddenly remembered my bittersweet relationship with Ozpin.
Man... Why do I have to go talk to Ozdick?
Sometimes we have to do stuff that we don't want to. Plus, Didn't Ozpin pull some strings to get you in?
I mean yeah, but he seems like he is hiding something. I feel like he is hiding it from everyone.
Can't you just be a little bit grateful that you're in Beacon? You should worry about what's going on at the moment. Do not dwell on the personality of the guy who let you into their school.
Ugh... I hate it when you're right.
I mentally scoff.
My thoughts get interrupted as someone bumps into me.
He seems in a hurry...
"I'm sorry, man! Hey, do you by any chance know where the bathroom is?" He asked holding it in.
"Erm, yeah... Just go straight and to the right, the doors will be there," I said pointing in the directions.
"Sweet thanks, man! I'm Zack by the way," He said holding out his fist and waiting for me to bump it with mine.
"Geist," I said and slightly fist-bumped him.
"Cool, see you around!" He said quickly and rushed over to the bathrooms that I directed him to.
He was weird and very hyperactive...
I got into the elevator and pressed the last button to the top floor, where Ozpin's office is. I crossed my arms and dark smoke poured out of me, forming Jester's silhouette.
"One day the things I tell you will have an impact on your life, it's just a matter of time before you say 'Wow! Thank you Jester for your impeccable knowledge!'" Jester said acting like a high school student.
"You wish! Maybe your life tips will come in handy someday, but I will certainly NOT act like that," I said still crossing my arms and looking up at his mouthless shadowy face.
Instead of saying something, Jester chuckled and dissipated into me at the same time, just before the door opened. The first thing I see is Ozpin sipping some liquid that I can only assume is tea or coffee, though I don't care enough to know.
"Ah, Ajax Ghost! Welcome to Beacon! It's nice to see you again," He said in his classic calm voice, which I'm not gonna lie I kinda enjoy. It's soothing.
"Hey Oz, wanted to see me?" I asked, rather friendly. I don't completely hate him, I did say our relationship is bittersweet.
"Indeed, it's about your stay here. Remember when I said that you were going to be conditioned if you enter my school?" He rhetorically asked. "Well... You can forget about that. You see, when I inscribed you into the school you were the extra one, so you would have been placed in a team of four and you wouldn't be able to fight in the yearly tournament. But students joined and now there are enough people for you to join a team and be a normal student."
"Oh, so I have plot armor?"
"I beg your pardon?"
"Nothing, just thinking out loud."
"Right... So don't worry about the conditions. But don't make me regret me inscribing you into my school, I had to pull a lot of strings to get you in," He said trying to sound menacing.
"Don't worry Oz, I've got it all under control," I smirked
"Very well then, go on now, I've got a speech to give in about five minutes," He said, shooing me.
