Ajax POV.

White. All around me is white. No floor, no roof, no walls. Just... White.

"Wait, where am I? AM I DEAD?!" I yelled.

"No you are not Ajax, you are in your head, in your thoughts," Jester's voice could be heard behind me. I quickly turned around and saw Jester standing there in the blankness.

"Is my head this empty?" I rhetorically asked while looking around.

"Well, you fainted and have not woken up since the last mission. I do not expect you to think about much," Jester explained as he lit a cigarette.

"Oh right. Hey! no smoking in my head!" I aggressively pointed at Jester's cigarette.

"Why? I do it all the time," Jester said nonchalantly.

"You bastard..." I muttered while glancing over at him. "Anyways, why am I mentally 'awake' now?"

"I sense someone who seems to be from your bloodline is trying to communicate. Although it is not a human that is trying to," Jester explained looking around with just his eyes as if trying to find someone. "Do you wish to talk to them?"

"Erm... Sure... As long as you remain here," I said suspiciously.

"Alright then, I will stay here. Just note that we do not have powers here. It is your mind after all," Jester said as he threw the cigarette on the ground and stepped on it.

Jester closed his white eyes and focused for a second. A moment later, someone materialized around 10 meters in front of us. It was a shadow surrounded by dark purple smoke. But not a normal shadow. It seemed to be a female version of Jester.  It was all black with white sharp eyes, no mouth. It also had a tuxedo resembling that of Jester's but in dark purple. It also had a big purple hat on her head.

"Uhm, hello?" I said confused.

"Ah, finally," The female shadow said while stretching her arms and back. "Greetings, Ajax."

"Hi. Who are you?" I said waving and pointing at her.

"Hela..." Jester with a hint of fear in his voice.

"Oh! Jessie! Say, how have you been, big boy?" The shadow named Hela asked Jester, who seemed to be uncomfortable.

"Jessie?" I turn around towards Jester.

"I've been swell, thank you for asking, Hela," Jester said nervously.

"You two know each other?" I ask both of the shadows while pointing at them.

"Of course we do. Why don't you explain your Ward, Jessie?" Hela said as she put her right hand on her hip.

"This is Hela, your... Brother's Guardian," Jester said with hesitance as he was looking at the ground.

My heart dropped to the ground as soon as I heard those words. My brother? Why and how is his Guardian contacting me?

"That's right," Hela said as she started walking toward me. "It's great finally meeting you, Ajax Ghost."

"What do you want?" My tone switched aggressively in an instant.

"Now now, no need to get aggressive. I've just come here with a message," Hela said now towering over me as she stood in front of me.

"What is it?" I said with my venom-filled voice.

"Feisty. I like it," Hela said with a smug smirk on her face. "Let's get right to the point. Luke is in your school, as you have probably deduced. Don't think about it too much, yet. See, your father left big shoes to be filled up,"
