Ajax POV
We were walking through the streets of Vale in search of their missing teammate Blake, who went missing after a long, LONG argument.
"Blaaaake!" Ruby shouts trying to somehow get Blake's attention.
"Blaaaake!" Yang was also calling for her.
"Blaaaaaaaake! Where aaaare yoooouuuu!?" Ruby continued to scream.
"Blake!" Yang screamed once again.
"Weiiiiss, you're not helping!" Ruby scolded Weiss
"Oh! Do you know what might be able to help? The police!" Weiss was still standing on her grounds.
"Ugh, Weiss..." Ruby hisses.
"It was just an idea!" Weiss retorts.
"Yeah, a bad one." We continue walking
"And why do only scold me? How come Ajax gets to just stand there doing nothing?!" Weiss pointed at me. I was just walking with my normal outfit on.
"Oh but I am helping," I say laid back and with my hands in my hoodie pockets.
"How? You're doing..." She scans me. "...Nothing."
I sigh and whistle rather loudly. The girls were confused as to what was happening and they just looked at me confused. I held up a finger pointing at the sky. They look up and we see a bird's silhouette approach us at a fast speed. It swiftly lands on my arm and the girls looked stunned.
"Uh... What is that?" Ruby asked pointing at my owl.
"This is my owl companion, Onyx," As I said this, Onyx hooted softly. Ruby and Yang seemed to be excited about this.
"Can I pet it?!" Yang asked me, to which I nod. Yang and Ruby come closer to pet it and Onyx happily obliged. He may not show it, but he's very affectionate. I look over to Weiss.
"It doesn't look like a normal owl to me," Weiss had a look of disgust on her face.
"He's not. He's Grimm," Yang and Ruby looked at me in shock as they stopped petting it. "But as you can see, Weiss, he's not doing usual Grimm stuff. Onyx and I have a special connection that I can't exactly tell you right now. But, what I can tell you with certainty is that he's my friend." I stopped for a while to pet Onyx. "And he wouldn't hurt anyone. Well, unless I tell him to, but you get the idea."
Weiss seemed in thought. I came over to her and extended my arm, where Onyx was standing, to her. She looks at me hesitantly and I smile at her. She extends her hand over Onyx, who responds by closing his eyes and raising his head so that it makes contact with Weiss's hand. She looked surprised and looked at me, to which I respond by softly chuckling.
"Alright, enough love for now," I say and retrieve Onyx. "Onyx, I need you to look for a girl in black and white with a bow on her head, possibly a Faunus." Onyx hoots before I extend my arm in the air and he takes off.
"Now, where were we?" I say and we start walking again.
"I think we should hear her side of the story before we jump to any conclusions," Yang says following Ruby.
"I think that when we hear it, you'll all realize I was right!" Weiss bitchly adds.
"And I think Weiss' hair looks wonderful today!" Penny compliments Weiss.
"Sure does! What wha-?" I add to the compliment but we all quickly turn around.
"Aaaah! Penny! Where did you come from!?" Ruby and the rest seemed surprised.
