Ajax POV
"You guys don't need to come along, but it's up to you," I said while standing in front of our dorm's door.
Zack crosses his arms. "I don't know... The docks smell a lot like fish. And I hate fish!"
"I appreciate your offer, Ajax. But I'll have to decline" Titus added while screwing a bolt of his brass knuckles. "I need to fix my knuckles ASAP."
"I hate to be the kind of girl to say no to this, but I have a matter to attend to with my family," Hana showed genuine guilt.
"It's fine. Then it's settled. I'll see you guys around. Call me if you guys need anything," I waved and left the dorm.
I make my way to team RWBY's dorm, which wasn't too far since it was right next to us. I knocked and waited for an answer.
"Who is it?" I hear Weiss's voice from inside.
"Me, Ajax," I talk to the door, heh.
"Oh! Come in. I need your help with something," Some rustling could be heard. She sounded in a rush.
I opened the door and noticed she was searching for something.
"What's wrong? Where are your teammates?" I asked her while she was running around the dorm. I couldn't help but notice the extremely unstable bunk beds and cringe at the sight of them, but I had to admit it did save a lot of space.
"I told them to go on ahead since I can't seem to find my necklace," Her voice hinted at desperation.
"Here, I'll help you," I said and approached the beds on the right hand of the dorm. I sat down and looked beneath the bed. Nothing.
"Ajax! Come quick!" Weiss yelled at me.
"I'm right behind you, Ice Queen. No need to yell at me," I deadpanned.
"I found it! But I can't reach it. A little help?" She pointed beneath their bookshelf at the center of their dorm. I looked down and indeed there was a shiny object at the far end of it. I sat down in front of it and extended my hand and moved it around, searching for it. Weiss also sat down next to me and bent down to look at it. She was a little bit too close for comfort and I got startled. She didn't seem to notice and instructed me to move my hand more to the right. I grabbed it and quickly took out my hand.
"H-here you go," I handed her collar back to her.
"Thank you!" She graciously and quickly hugged me.
"Y-yeah, it's nothing..." I awkwardly returned the hug. We separated and she looked at me.
"Something wrong?" She noticed my awkwardness and decided to play a little game. "Oh, I see what it is... Not so fun when you're the one being poked around, isn't it?"
"I just got taken aback for a second," I regained my composure. "Won't happen again," I said with a smirk.
"Oh? Is that so?" Weiss shifted her hips and placed her arms in akimbo. "Prove it-"
I quickly rushed over to her and softly pushed her onto the bed. I was now on top of her and she started blushing madly.
"Not so tough now, hm?" I softly asked her. Her fair skin was painted red battling Ruby's cape. I chuckle and stand up. Weiss seemed to be too shocked to get up from the bed.
"Let's go now, your teammates are waiting for you," I said and left RWBY's dorm. After some seconds, she came out of her dorm, joined me, and we started walking to the academy's exit.
TIMESKIP
Team RWBY and I arrive at the streets of Vale, especially near the docks. A sign is being put up by an elderly shopkeeper that reads in bright red letters "WELCOME TO VALE!" for all the foreign newcomers from their respective kingdoms of Remnant.
