Third Person POV.
"Why the fuck are there so many airships at our school?" Zack asked, looking at the flying airships. "Are we going to war or something?"
"Let's hope not," Hana looked at Zack. "Though I have a feeling you wouldn't care and you'd still slash at whoever you encounter."
Zack simply laughs mischievously. Some more airships fly overhead and some bigger and more armed airships land on Beacon's landing pads.
At Ozpin's office, Glynda and Ozpin himself are seen watching the Atlesian Army flood Beacon's sky and land from the office's main window.
"Ironwood certainly loves bringing his work wherever he travels," Glynda said.
"Well, running an academy and a military makes him a busy man. But yes, those are a bit of an eyesore" A chirping beep sounds repeatedly on Ozpin's hollow desk. A hologram appears on his desk that reads 'Access Requested'. "Come in."
Shortly after, the elevator door opens to reveal a tall man with black hair with some white hair strands, he wore a white and blue suit with a red tie. He seemed to have a metal piece on top of his right eyebrow.
"Ozpin!" The man said cordially. Ozpin stands in attention.
"Hello, General," Ozpin responded formally.
"Please, drop the formalities," they both approach and shake hands as Glynda also approaches. "It's been too long. And Glynda! It has certainly been too long since we last met."
"Oh, James!" Glynda gives a personable wave and then drops all pleasantries. "I'll be outside," And with that, she left.
"Well, she hasn't changed a bit," The general remarks.
"So, what in the world has brought you down from Atlas?" Ozpin asks as he turns around, grabs a kettle and a mug, pouring as he speaks. "Headmasters don't typically travel with their students, for the Vytal Festival." He offers the General the mug, which he takes and makes clink.
"Well, you know how much I love Vale this time of year," The General grabs a flask of some sort out of his inside coat pocket and pours a bit of its content into his mug. "Besides, with you hosting, I thought that this might be a good opportunity for us to catch up."
"I can certainly appreciate the quality time between friends, however, a small fleet outside my window has me concerned," Ozpins says as he pours himself some coffee.
"Well, the concern is what brought them here." The General responded.
"I understand that travel between kingdoms has become increasingly difficult," Ozpin adds sitting down on his chair.
"Oz, you and I both know why I brought those men," The General responds with a worried expression.
"We are in a time of peace," Ozpin takes a drink from his cup and sets it down. "Shows of power like this are just going to give off the wrong impression."
"But if what Qrow said is true..." The General is cut short by Ozpin.
"If what Qrow said is true, then we will handle it tactfully," As Ozpin says this, he held up his index finger. "It's the Vytal Festival. A time to celebrate unity and peace. So I suggest that you not scare people by transporting hundreds of soldiers halfway across the continent."
"I'm just being cautious," The general retorts.
"As am I. Which is why we will continue to train the best Huntsmen and Huntresses we can," Ozpin states.
"Believe me, I am," He turns around. "Do you think taking in Ajax Ghost was a good idea? After what happened, who knows if he'll follow his father's path-" The general is abruptly interrupted by Ozpin.
