Third Person POV
Ozpin was looking out to the Emerald Forest, watching the students on his Scroll overlooking the Emerald Forest, when Glynda walks up behind him, holding her tablet.
"The last pair has been formed, sir," Glynda says and taps her screen to show the black-haired boy with a pink strand and the orange-haired girl. "Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren. Poor boy... I can't possibly imagine those two getting along. Still, he's probably better off than Miss Nikos."
"Mmm..." Ozpin slightly murmured.
"I don't care what his transcripts say. That Jaune fellow is not ready for this level of combat," She deactivates her tablet and starts walking back a bit. "I guess we'll find out soon enough. At their current pace, they should reach the temple within just a few minutes." She stops walking.
"Speaking of which, what did you use as relics this year?" She turns around and Ozza didn't answer as he looked in deep thought. "Professor Ozpin?"
Ozpin simply looks at his scroll and contemplates his students.
From the Forest Yang and Blake step out into a clearing that reveals the circular stone temple, broken and decrepit but for the platforms around its inside, holding several black and gold objects.
"Think this is it?" Yang asks. Blake gives Yang an incredulous look and heads down the hill. They walk across the floor and observe the items on each pedestal, now shown to be familiar shapes.
Blake looks at a black king, confused. "Chess pieces?"
"Some of them are missing. Looks like we weren't the first ones here," Yang said examining the other pedestals.
"Well, I guess we should pick one," Blake says.
"Hmm..." Yang says in thought while studying the golden knight, then picks it up and shows it to Blake. "How about a cute little pony?"
Blake smirks "Sure,"
They walk towards each other to the center of the temple floor.
"That wasn't too hard!" Yang says.
"Well, it's not like this place is very difficult to find," Blake says and they both share a smile.
Ajax POV
We finally arrived at the temple with the relics, but it seems we weren't the first ones. Yang and the Blake girl were already there.
"I see it!" Hana yells but looks at me observing the temple. "Oh,"
"Looks safe, let's go," I say to Hana and we head to the temple.
We arrive and Hana decides it's a good idea to just yell.
"Hello!" Hana says waving at the other girls standing at the temple and I just facepalm. We get closer and Hana speaks up. "I'm Hana Hayashi!"
"I'm Yang Xiao Long! And this is Blake!" she motions to Blake.
"Hello," Blake simply says and nods.
"Let's get a piece," I say to Hana, but she pulls my cape.
"What?!"
"You haven't introduced yourself!" She said with her hands on her hips.
"They already know me though," I say to Hana. "Right guys?"
"I sure do hot stuff ~," Yang says.
Still. Not my type.
"I know you, but not your name," Blake calmly says. I simply sigh.
