3rd Person POV
Inside professor Port's classroom, Weiss is seen waiting patiently out the minute left on her holographic clock displayed on the desk white Port's dialogue is merely heard in the background. Out of the blue, Jaune slides next to Weiss.
"So, Weiss, y'know, uh, I-I was thinking after this, maybe we could go grab a bite to eat? And, uh um, I-I've got two tickets to that new Spruce Willis movie, if you wanna make the trip to. I hear it's awesome," Jaune briefly pauses as his words have no effect on Weiss. "Aaaand maybe after that, we could study together? I mean, you're smart and I'm, uh... Y'know."
From the other side of the classroom, Ajax was glaring at the failing Jaune, mentally screaming: "AAAAHHHHHHHH".
Finally, the clock in front of Weiss gives a shrill beep as it changes from 3:59 to 4:00, and she dismisses it with a wave of her hand. The professor is temporarily unaware of the alarm.
"And then I— Oh," Port straightens his stance as the students start to leave. "Timed that one wrong, I guess. Well, the stunning conclusion to this story will have to wait. Until next time!"
"Weiss? Did you hear me?" Jaune asks Weiss as she packs up her Scroll.
"No, no, no, yes," Weiss answered, not even looking at Jaune.
Upon hearing this, Jaune groans and does a faceplant into his desk.
"One day," Yang ruffles his hair as team RWBY walks past him.
From the other side, Ajax smirks at this interaction, feeling a sense of satisfaction inside of him.
TIMESKIP
Ruby straps some red laces of her shoes. Weiss' hand is gripping the handle of Myrtenaster, strapping it to her side. Yang cocks her Ember Celica over her left forearm. Blake walks out of the bathroom in her new attire as she tightens black ribbons around her arms.
"I thought that class would never end," Blake approaches her bunk as she tightens her wraps.
"Alright, guys, today's the day! The investigation begins!" Ruby says from her position sitting on the hanging bed.
Ruby happily leaps off her mattress and onto the floor, arms raised excitedly. She almost lands on Weiss, who is on the bottom bunk.
"I'm glad to see we're taking this so seriously," Weiss says sarcastically.
"Hey, we've got a plan! That's... moderately serious," Yang responds. Suddenly a knock on the door could be heard.
"I'll get it..." Weiss sighs and heads over to the door, opening it shortly after, only to reveal Ajax standing outside their dorm looking at his Scroll. "Ajax!"
"Hey, Zack wants to know if Ruby knows where-," Ajax looks up from his Scroll. "Oh, looking good." He gives Weiss a thumbs up.
"T-thanks," Weiss sheepishly responds.
"What is going on in here?" Ajax looks over Weiss, seeing that every member of the team was dressed up differently. "Hello, girls," He waves, receiving a wave from each member.
"Erm, we were going to... We had planned..." Weiss couldn't find a good answer.
"Whatever is going on, I want in. I've been meaning to cleanse my mind. Well, that is if I can get in," Ajax looked at the other members.
They all looked at each other and Weiss darted towards her teammates, they whispered between themselves. After a brief moment, Ruby walks up to Ajax, who was still standing at the door.
