3rd Person POV

Ajax suddenly awakes at the sound of vibration on the table. Startled, he opens his eyes and turns around his head to the direction of the commotion. He notices Weiss's scroll turned on and relaxes knowing that it was nothing relevant. Ajax burrows his head back into the pillow still half-asleep. Both were still resting together, but Weiss had rolled around and was now facing away from Ajax. He noticed this and almost instinctively pulled her in closer, although some weird feeling lingered on his hand once he felt it. His arm was wrapped around Weiss's waist and placed on her abdomen. He could feel that she was indeed alive and breathing, but this soft, strange, and, squishy feeling kept Ajax from going back to sleep. It was not Weiss's dress for sure. It kept moving with her breathing and seemed to greet his fingers since they sank into it.

That's when it hit him. He was oblivious to the fact that it was Weiss's skin...

Ajax was puzzled. How could he feel her skin in that area if she was wearing a dress?

His overthinking got him more awake than before and his eyes had rapidly adjusted to the darkness and could see as clear as day. He looked at Weiss and noticed she wasn't wearing her dress, but rather his pajamas that once belonged to Zack but he gave to him.

"Oh..." He muttered as he realized the severity of the occasion.

He couldn't help but wonder how she managed to change herself and not wake him up. Either way, he had to do something about this to not make it awkward when she awakes, and simply for respect.

Due to the differences in height and complexity of their bodies, the shirt that once belonged to Zack, then Ajax, fell just above her knees. He noticed the shirt that had ridden up beyond her thighs and stomach. Since she was turned around, it made it hard for him to tell exactly where the shirt had gone up. Weiss shuffled around a bit due to his commotion. He couldn't help but notice how much of her bare body was up against him. After giving it some thought, he instantly flushed. Not wanting to risk her waking up, he takes action and removes softly his hand from her abdomen and reaches for the shirt's hem. Once he found it he carefully grabs it and starts pulling it down. Occasionally his hand brushes up against her ribs and the recess of her navel, only adding to his anxiety, never having felt so much bare skin that wasn't his on his hand, or body for that matter. He wondered how much more until the shirt was down near her thighs. Although his wondering came to an abrupt halt as he felt some other sort of cloth. His brain explodes in a mix of shock, lust, and confusion. He wasn't aware that she wasn't wearing anything else other than her underwear. His thoughts came to a halt as he remembered he and everyone else normally wear underwear...

Now fully awake, he face-palms mentally and quickly abandons the mission. He removes his hand from her body and his breathing was now at the same rate as if he was hunting Grimm.

Ajax's thoughts are interrupted as Weiss shifts around. His anxiety reached max capacity. She then turns around, awake with her eyes open, albeit still sleepy. There was a silence between them until Ajax broke it.

"Uh... Hi?" He managed to stutter. "Were you- I mean... A-Are you awake now?"

"Mhm. Your shuffling woke me up some time ago," she said nonchalantly. Ajax's eyes widen.

"But I uh- you- I thought you were asleep?" He stuttered.

"Nope..." She said adding a pop at the end of the word.

A deafening silence fell...

"I'm uh... I'm sorry. I promise I wasn't doing... That..." Ajax muttered defeated. "I tried to not wake you up and now it's extremely awkward-"

"I-It's fine," Weiss interrupted him. "You'd be frozen alive if you were someone else. You're lucky I l-like you, Ajax Ghost."

He could tell that she was blushing insanely thanks to his semblance. Her reassurance and the sight of her blushing helped Ajax relax and look up at the ceiling.
