Third Person POV

"How are you feeling?" Hana asked Ajax. Both were sitting on Ajax's bed doing their final healing session.

Time passed and thanks to Ajax's aura and Hana's semblance, Ajax was able to make a full recovery just before the Tournament.

"Like I'm born anew," Ajax said inspecting the scar left where his wound used to reside on the side of his stomach.

"Great. Let's get going, you don't want to miss RWBY's match, do you?" Hana asked sitting up from the bed.

"Damn right, Weiss would kill me if she finds out I didn't see their match," Ajax said as he pulled down his shirt and they both chuckled.

Ajax stood up and walked toward the door, only to be stopped by Hana grabbing his hand. He turns around confused and sees Hana looking at the floor with sadness on her face.

"What's wrong?" Ajax worriedly asks Hana.

"I just want to ask of you one thing. Only one," Hana pauses, leaving Ajax in suspense. "I know how you care more about others than you do about yourself. So please, promise me you won't kill yourself or hurt yourself badly just to win. It's not going to end well for everyone, or yourself, for that matter."

Ajax simply stood there in silence processing what he had just been asked. It was true, in a way. He'd do anything to win or save his significant other. Perhaps some selfishness is needed.

"Okay," Ajax breaks the momentary silence. "I promise I won't kill myself or injure myself to win."

Hana then looks up and a smile appears on her face, not before jumping at Ajax quickly, enveloping him in a quick hug. Seconds later she separates and goes in front of Ajax, exiting the room.

"Great, 'cause if you do, I won't be the one healing you," Hana says as she winks and starts walking.

The male teenager is left there at the door. He chuckles and continues walking, catching up to Hana and they both make their way to the Colosseum.

Soon enough, the two students meet with their other two team members at their assigned seats at the Colosseum. As they sat down, they noticed the match between teams RWBY and ABRN had already started. Just as they sat down, Professor Port's voice sounded through the arena.

"Hello! It seems that we have another astonishing bout ahead of us! Wouldn't you agree, Professor?" Port announced excitedly.

"Doctor..." Professor Oobleck grumbled. "And yes Peter, I think it's safe to say this match may be the closest we've seen of the four-on-four round of the tournament!"

"For those of you just now joining us, welcome to the Vytal Festival Tournament, broadcast live from the Amity Colosseum!" Port says enthusiastically as he waves his arm to gesture at the entire event from his place on the gigantic screen over the crowds.

The Coliseum is shown in its full glory, as shuttlecraft transport people to and from the various floors while the entire structure hovers around the airspace of Beacon Academy. Explosions are seen throughout the battlefield, but the view shifts back to the announcers as they begin speaking again.

"If this is your first time watching, allow us to break down the rules," Port says.

"Ah just in time," Ajax says as he leans back into his seat, not before stealing some popcorn from Zack's bucket, who was naive of this malicious act.

"The tournament is divided into three distinctive rounds; teams, doubles, and singles. Age and school year are irrelevant! In this tournament, your only attribute being tested... is a skill," Oobleck explains as he holds up the appropriate number of fingers for each of his explanations as a hologram to his side illustrates the rules.
