"Does it ever drives you crazy..
..just how fast the night changes?"
...
Three years ago, I met him.
It was a cloudy morning, with autumn atmosphere, it was quiet and peaceful. It blanketed the landscape with a thick fog and fresh dewdrops.
All else seemed to stand still as nature took the main stage. My thoughts turned scarlet and gold, welcoming in the fresh cool air and fragrance of the season.
As I entered the bakery, I came across a strong dark figure, it was a tall, masculine man who took a slight gaze on me. I didn't seem to care as I sighted him out with the corner of my eyes.
He was leaning on the wall as he was waiting for his order to get baked. I waited for mine as well.
Once he took his freshly baked chocolate brownies and I took my freshly baked croissants, our eyes accidentally met.
The dark mystery of his eyes stared at me in blank amazement, like he had seen a ghost, a one that he recognized very well.
We both froze for a moment, until he sighed at me with anxiousness and he pulled himself together, reaching out for an exit.
I stood there blinking with ambiguity.
What the hell did I do for this man to sigh at me like that? Ridiculous.
Mom's car pulled up, I sat on the front seat as we were on our way to my violin class.
...
Every day I went to the bakery I kept seeing him, I don't know if he intentionally came to see me or if he was actually a daily customer, although I've never seen him before.
He'd always wear the same outfit. Black sweatshirt, black sweat pants, black backpack, a black cap and black headphones. It's like he purposely did that, to not reveal his face, so that I won't recognize him.
