I've been running from the bodyguards for about half an hour.
I couldn't find Mikhail or Rafael, they totally disappeared and no one has been uttering a word in the earpiece.
I hope they're doing okay. I hope Don didn't get them.
I was anxiously hiding in an elevator, I pressed on the button with the tenth floor, it was the last floor for the building.
I anxiously aimed my gun to the door's elevator. Body trembling with fear of getting caught, tortured, killed.
The elevator went opened, I found the floor completely silent and empty.
I let out a sigh of relief and stepped out of the elevator."Mikhail, do you copy?!" My shaky fingers pressed against the ear piece. I could hear my weak voice echo through the area.
Suddenly a huge arm is wrapped around my neck, "Run again and I'll break your neck." Adriano aimed a gun to my head as I let out a gasp.
My grip tightened to my gun as I forced to lift my hand to his direction. "Don't you dare, Evelyn." He growled, wrapping his arm tighter and tighter.
I shakingly dropped my gun to the floor, I couldn't make a single move. All I was able to focus on was trying to catch my breath as I kicked Adriano's legs with my foot.
I feel blood pressuring through my veins. Adriano suddenly let go of me and I dropped to the ground, catching back my breath.
I found him thrown to the ground opposite me, his face was covered with blood. Mikhail kept punching him till he passed out.
Mikhail.
I let out a gasp. I'm grinning so hard.
Mikhail cuffed both Adriano's hands.
He let him knocked out on the floor and he got up to his feet.Mikhail turned to me, "Hey, Love." He whipped the blood off his lips, smirking.
My heart stopped beating.
He was wearing all in black, chemise, trousers, short coat and leather boots.
We were matching outfits.
Fuck.
I covered my mouth, forcing back tears. He stretched out his arms for me, grinning. "Come here." He choked out, heavily breathing from all the punches he threw.
The moment I was about to run to his arms, a bullet suddenly passed between us, so rapidly that it almost hit Mikhail's arm.
Both our eyes widened with terror. Mikhail dropped his arms and I froze my place.
We turned to our side, finding a body guard aiming a gun at Mikhail.
Mikhail slowly lifted his arms as he muttered to me. "Run." It came out as a whisper.
