Dear Sarah,

Bella and I have been in Forks for a week already. Things are going great, well as great as things can get. I admit to having a mini episode on the first day of school but am I really the one to blame? That Jessica girl was wrong for what she said about the Cullens aunt.

Right, the Cullens, they're my new friends. They're chill, I get along with four of them really well and that's not to say I don't get along with Edward, it's just he hasn't been in school since the incident with Bella's hair.

I almost forgot to mention Bella's obsession with him. Her stubbornness has her fixated on finding out some hidden secret that she says the Cullens are hiding. This is all because the fan blew her hair in the direction of Edward and he covered up his nose after sniffing the air.

I don't get what she's thinking. It's not like I've noticed anything weird, they seem normal enough to me. Emmett, Rosalie, Alice and Jasper are the fours names.

They are some Drs foster children. Rose and Em are dating and so are Jas and Al. Jessica, the girl I fell out with, thinks it weird.

I think it's sweet that they were able to find comfort despite whatever past they had that resulted in them being put into the care system.

Anyway I'm off to see the Clearwaters today. It's been a while since I spoke of them to you. I'm not sure if you remember them but Leah, the one that's our age. She's the one that had issues with Sam.

Remember the whole, I had a friend that had a boyfriend that disappeared then reappeared dating her cousin drama?

Her brother Seth should be around 14 now. He was the boy next to me in the photo my mum kept on the fridge in the kitchen, not sure if you remember that?

We were so young in that photo, our smiles were shining without worry or pain.

Sarah I miss you so much that it hurts to not say these things to you in person or even over the phone...

Anyway I should be off now. I promised to meet the Clearwaters at theirs for twelve and it takes an hour to get from my dads down to the reservation. So until next time my friend.

Looking over the letter one last time I put it in an envelope addressed to my friend. I opened the top drawer on the left side of my desk and pulled out a wooden box with intricate designs on it. Opening it up I slipped the letter on top of a pile of other letters before placing it back into the drawer and closing it.

I sighed getting up from my desk and picked up my helmet from the end of my bed leaving my room and closing the door behind me. I jogged down the steps from my attic bedroom into the old box room. Walking across the landing I stopped at Bella's door and knocked.

"Come in." I heard from the other side of the door. Placing my hand on the handle I opened the door to see Bella sat at her desk with her biology books out.

"Homework?" I asked, nudging my head in the direction of her textbooks.

"Yeah figured I might as well catch up. Are you heading out now?"

"Yeah uh let dad know I've left he should be back in about 20 minutes."

"Will do." She says smiling to which I return before saying bye and closing the door. I went downstairs and left the house, closing the front door quietly behind me. I walked over to Bella's truck where my bike was under its rain cover.
