Y/n's POV
While you had originally planned to head over to the Clearwater's the day after you spent with Jacob and Bella, it become apparent that the day had slipped both yours and Bella's minds.
It was a normal Sunday morning in forks, the rain splashing hard against the ground making up two of the many reasons neither of you wanted to head out. It wasn't the usual rain either; it was more like someone tipping bathtubs of water over the streets outside.
"Don't know about you but I frankly don't wanna venture out in this." I state as the two of us stood staring out the living room window hoping it would stop. But after an hour passed by it became clear the rain had no intentions of doing so.
"I completely agree. Guess I should message Jake." Bella murmurs distantly, seemingly distracted by the rain.
"Yeah, same with Seth and Leah." I mutter, grabbing my phone to see a message asking if I was still intending to come over.
I sent a reply telling them saying I didn't fancy swimming over to the reservation. I tucked my phone away and glanced at Bella. 'When was the last time we spent time together?' I thought. 'What in the stable functioning family fuck did I just think.' I then countered internally.
'Bella and I never spend time together. We do occasionally bug each other but it's not like we hang out as friends.' I was so caught up in my thoughts it took Bella jabbing my side to get my attention.
"Ow!" I exclaimed, jumping away as I held my side. Bella laughed moving away from the window and to the kitchen. I cocked a brow and followed her.
"I was thinking since both of us have some homework to do we could sit in the living room and study, maybe chuck a film on?" Bella suggests bringing up the other reason we weren't heading down to the Res. We both had homework due In tomorrow for school. She walks about the kitchen making a hot cup of tea.
"Uh who are you and what have you done with my annoying little sister Bella." I remarked, shocked.
Bella scoffed and rolled her eyes, turning to lean against the counter as she waited for the kettle to finish boiling. "Well, I just figured we don't spend a lot of time with each other."
"Jesus mum is that you?" I walked over to Bella and playfully started checking her over. I placed my hand to her forehead and pretended to take her temperature.
"Seriously, Y/n, knock it off." She grumbled, pushing my hands away as I laughed.
"Alright, well, I'm down, kinda fancy watching Harry Potter anyways." I say leaning against the fridge as I watch Bella pour her drink.
"What are you 12?" She jokes with a chuckle.
"Yes. So imma go grab my stuff, you do the same and then we can study ... yay!" I playfully cheer walking out the kitchen.
I hear Bella laughing as I run out the kitchen still confused by the sudden invite to study together. 'Maybe dad mentioned something to her.' I pondered as I entered my room turning to my desk and shoving all my study materials in my rucksack.
I carried the bag down stairs to see Bella had already returned and had even gone as far as making me a hot drink and bringing out some snacks.
"You're spoiling me Bells." I tease, popping my bag on the sofa and plopping down. Bella was sitting on the other one as she flicked on the tv.
"Yeah well the truth is I don't understand the biology homework... consider this a compromise." She says as she flicks through Netflix finding the films and clicking on the first one.
