Chapter 5 - Eyes

The warm wind blew past ever so softly ruffling Seokjin's raven hair and Namjoon just kept staring at his mate who was the epitome of perfection, the man was handsome and masculine yet so soft and fragile.

Namjoon was just left in awe, thinking about how this perfect man ended up being his mate.

But then there was a question that he decided to ask.

"When did you find out that I was your mate?"

The question caught Seokjin's as he turned his head towards the younger softly smiling at him and again Namjoon found his heartbeat skipping a few beats his head tilting not at all tired of gazing at the sight of his mate— and he knew well, that he'd never ever can even get tired of his mate's immense beauty.

"Twelfth of December six days after my eighteenth birthday, I found you right a week after my birthday when I visited the winter feast your school held with my younger brother. We bumped shoulders even but you just apologized for not even looking at me, it kind of hurt me thinking you don't want me but then I realized that you were rather focused on some little kid with blonde hair— I'm guessing he is the rare male omega everyone is talking about." Seokjin narrated his cheeks tinting pink as Namjoon kept staring at him with his dragon-like eyes widened and plump lips parted open in daze.

"If you found me, then why didn't you approach? Like, I was seventeen so I wouldn't know you were my mate." Namjoon cleared out frowning to himself as he cursed himself not for at least glancing at once at the beauty of his mate and also for the fact he didn't remember their first ever shoulder bump.

"I found out later that you were seventeen, when I asked my brother about you, I hope you know Kim Jongin? I kinda forced him to be your friend— I literally paid that brat for befriending you and to get to know all your daily activities, your birthday, your habits, your family background, which class you are in, what's your favorite subject, literally I wanted to know everything about you!" Seokjin let out his words fast as if he was ranting out all his struggles and Namjoon just started to blush profusely hearing how keen was his mate in knowing him.

"Quite a stalker you were then sweetheart, weren't you?" Hyuna had a teasing tone throughout her question, shaking her head as she glanced back at Seokjin seeing the beta's cheeks tinting red as he looked out of the window once again, even his ears burning in embarrassment of saying those words out loud.

"I— I'm sorry aunty, sorry Namjoon, I didn't mean to harm your personal life I swear! I just wanted to get to know my mate an-and I didn't approach you because I was scared of getting wrong o-or being labeled as a gold digger or something because of course the whole world knows you are going to be the future Alpha and—"

"Can you please repeat my name again?" Namjoon cut Seokjin's rant off, earning a frown from his mate before it melted into soft little giggles spurting out of his lips which seemed sarcastic.

"You are so cute! Always focusing on the unnecessary details while your handsome mate is ranting his heart out Joon."

Scratch that. Seokjin was definitely being sarcastic but again, Namjoon didn't focus on the detail he should rather his eyes widened hearing his mate giving him a nickname.

"You called me Joon, eomma calls me that too!" Namjoon exclaimed, utterly excited over the fact that his mate called him a sweet name. It absolutely rejoiced him and his wolf knowing that their mate was initiating familiarity between them.

"I— wow…" Seokjin sighed, he looked at Namjoon who seemed all cheerful and happy with a wide smile stretched over his lips also the alpha had these deep beautiful dimples and Seokjin refused to believe that his mate was a mere werewolf, the boy in front of him is surely supposed to be an angel and those dimples were caused because those heaven angels must have kissed his cheeks deeply being irresistible of his charms.
