"Will you at least tell me what you are pouting for?"
Being questioned Taehyung turned his head towards Jungkook staring at the alpha turning the wheel to take a turn, as said his pout was still there on his lips.
"I'm not." He lied either way, looking down at Jungkook's hand in his, fiddling with the bead bracelet, eyes caught on the single bluish white one between all the black sleek beads.
"Taehyung. Say something." Jungkook sighed, pulling his hand back instantly hearing Taehyung let out a loud whine but he needed to change the gear and once he did he gave his hand back to the omega who went quiet as soon as his fingers nestled with the other's.
"You didn't hug Joonie hyung before we left the house, he looked so sad— you hugged everyone but not hyungie, not fair." Taehyung murmured, chewing down on his bottom lip hearing nothing back from Jungkook but a scoff.
Honestly, Jungkook wasn't even liking a bit how Taehyung always picked up Namjoon's side— he agrees that the omega doesn't know about anything in much detail, still he was getting offended because of it.
Because fuck it, Namjoon doesn't deserve a hug from him.
The rest of ride was continued in silence with Taehyung's pout never falling off, until he reached the penthouse, he was the first one to get off the car and run inside while Jungkook waited back to bring the two bags that were in the car containing nothing but the gifts from all the elders back in pack house.
Jungkook really didn't understand the hype of getting so emotional when they were just literally staying away by a ten minute drive— maximum fifteen minutes if there is some traffic— but no all the time elders made a big deal of it stuffing them with gifts and goodbyes as if he with his mate was leaving the country.
He walked in the lobby, the guard standing there offering to help him with the bags which he kindly denied, making a beeline to the elevator nodding to the receptionist on his way— she basically did nothing but to interrogate people who would enter the penthouse.
As soon as he reached his floor he saw Taehyung sitting on the floor looking down with a pout which made him frown as he walked closer to the omega.
"What's wrong?" He asked out seeing Taehyung look up at him before pointing at the floor where there was just one ant crawling around in circles.
"He or she must have lost his or her friends." Taehyung pointed towards the ant on the floor looking up at Jungkook.
Rolling his eyes Jungkook shifted one of the bags to another and punched in the code on the keypad opening the door. "Come in once you are done being a four year old." This was all he said before entering inside, closing the door behind.
"What's wrong with him?" Taehyung pouted, getting up, joining his hands together to pray for the ant to find their friends and family before he typed in the code to enter inside the apartment.
Walking in he took a deep breath letting it out as a sigh looking around the apartment he would call his home, he skipped his steps giggling, dancing around the living room feeling pleasant in the way the wind chime made those tinkling sounds whenever the soft breeze brushed past.
He liked— no, loved it here.
Everything about this place was loved by him, those potted plants in the balcony the way they had a clear view of the city buildings at a distance while their nearer vision consisted of the garden where flowers were lined up— it was Jimin who took care of those flowers, the alpha liking flourished view of those colorful flowers.
His eyes fluttered close as he swayed his body along with the melodious tune of the wind chime, the breeze seemed to mess with the strings of it in such perfection that they created a tune from him to sway his body at.
