Chapter 18 - Gaze

Blue Moon pack looked the best when it's land was covered with snow.

The sun now barely seemed to peek out from the dense clouds yet the sky looked pretty dipped in hues of blues with the yellowish glow of the sun that seemed to pass through some gaps, the sight of the sky was exquisite and the white blanket of snow just added more beauty to this scenery.

And there was Taehyung his teeth chattering a bit as he looked at the outside world he had only seen from his room window, now he was sitting in the car seat practically jumping in his seat with arms wrapped around his stomach from above the thick coat he wore of his mother because he didn't have one for himself.

The distinct click made him flinch a little as he looked at his mate sitting beside him, giving him a smile which he returned with a much wider one showing off all his white teeth.

"My moon, wear your seatbelt." Jungkook said, looking at Taehyung who seemed confused for a while before he started to look around the confined space of the car.

"Where is it?" Taehyung innocently questioned looking back at Jungkook feeling embarrassed because he didn't even know where exactly this certain belt is.

"On your left, you see that silvery thing pull it." Jungkook pointed his forefinger to the belt seeing Taehyung gasp as he pulled the metal giggling when the belt rolled out of it.

"This is fun!" Taehyung squealed as he kept pulling the belt until it stopped rolling out and he turned towards Jungkook with a pout tugging on the belt, "It's finished." He slumped down the seat leaving the belt eyes going wide again seeing the belt roll in again and only the metal thing being out. "So cool." This time he gaped and pointed it out so Jungkook could also see how cool it was.

"You're adorable." Jungkook chuckled pinching Taehyung's pink splashed cheeks before he leaned forward himself pulling out the belt's tongue dragging it across Taehyung's torso and hooking it in it's buckle.

His gaze raised up lips parting to inform Taehyung about the buckle but all his words seemed to dry out as he realized how close his face was from Taehyung's.

The sun finally peeked out from the thick clouds shining brightly and the rays fell on Taehyung's sapphire eyes making them shine brightly, it looked like the purest and clearest water of the deep rivers seeing, those little black strokes made it look like the valleys the river streams were parted into.

And when the omega blinked, Jungkook let out a stuttered breath seeing those long blonde lashes tantalizingly touching the soft pink cheeks of the omega before they revealed the sight of those clear eyes.

There was this mole on the lower lash line of Taehyung's left eye and it fuelled Jungkook's heart to beat out faster- that mole seemed to be the best feature of those eyes after the azure irises.

It seemed like Jungkook had all his time in the world as his gaze trailed lower, gliding over the nose seeing the mole he always adored still standing proud on tip of nose, daringly his gaze descended to the pink lips shining in gloss and it took every fiber of Jungkook's body not to lurch to claim those lips between his own when the pink tip of his omega's tongue glided over the flesh leaving it shinier than before.

"Hyu-hyungie." Taehyung whispered, his heart seemed to beat out of his chest as Jungkook kept staring at his lips, his body felt warm yet a shiver shot down his spine and he trembled, yet he was confused with all these sensations he was feeling just because his mate was staring at him.

Finally, the gears in Jungkook's head spinned and started to work as he backed away clearing his throat briefly explaining Taehyung again on how to use the seatbelt before he started the car with his face feeling warm, he definitely knew his cheeks would have tinted pink and the reason was definitely not the cold outside.
