Life has always been hectic, it was all filled with chaos, unnecessary events, some saddening, some giving memories to to laugh on for a short time. Sometimes memories made people sad too because that time wouldn't return back.
On a closing note, life is pessimistic and turns everything that is cheery into dull, like when we enter this life coming out of our mother's womb we give our mother immense pain before we can finally breathe and the first thing we do is to cry our lungs out and when we die we leave people to mourn over our death.
It's filled with struggles and people around make it more unbearable, one starts to think about all the people's opinions around them forgetting their own, people forget that these people who are judging them for living their lives their way is something that really doesn't make sense.
For Jungkook it took a while for him to understand all of this being a twenty-eight year old he has already seen and experienced everything he has to, his life struggles weren't any less and it took him a while to make things work his way but he did and he succeeded.
He achieved everything he ever wanted to and through that process, he did things he liked he did what was right for him from becoming an successful CEO of self-made company— JSC, Jeon Software Co-operations which had a turnover over millions, he proved his worth for everything he was ever questioned.
He was told to prove his worth and he did— actually he quite very much slapped his worth on his cousin's face becoming more successful than he could ever be.
His cousin was his former best friend but now all they both do is throw glares at each other or cocky remarks wanting to degrade the other person, they worked as a team once and now they stood on opposite sides not even one of their opinions matched and adjusting as per each other wasn't even a damned option.
Seokjin would always be caught up between the two, he couldn't even pinpoint how the brothers who were so dear to each other started to see each other as competitors.
Well, of course this was to be blamed on someone and of course Areum didn't even waste her time and blamed it all down to Taehyung— the seventeen year old barely even ever left his room, it's rare when he sees Jungkook because he is always around Namjoon and they way Namjoon keeps speaking about Jungkook, the omega as if a coping mechanism started to dislike Jungkook too.
The omega barely had any memories with Jungkook. He forgot them because as he grew up through the years Jungkook was never around him, it was only Namjoon and Seokjin around him.
The world in the pack house went upside down in eight years.
All the relationships changed, all the friendships came to an end and some were strong enough to withstand.
Just like any other day in the packhouse, the two alphas were again busy throwing their remarks at each other at the dinner table.
"Eomma, did you see the news today? Your son is on the news for being the top three millionaires." Jungkook said quite loudly, smirking, when he saw Namjoon roll his eyes.
"I'm proud of you, my child." Areum smiled, patting Jungkook's hair, her eyes shining with the admiration she had for her son.
"Not top one though Mr. CEO." Namjoon scoffed taking a bite of his bossam chewing the meat stiffly glaring at Jungkook, clearly judging his pierced eyebrow and lower lip not to forget his whole right arm covered in black inked tattoos, he really couldn't understand where did his soft toned and baby-like Jungkook was gone.
Probably gone too far to even bring him back.
Only if Namjoon knew that his cousin, the one he knew, was just the same, just covering himself with the layers he had built around himself.
