Chapter 9 - Giggles

The time was ticking as Jungkook stared at the wall clock before his gaze shifted towards the omega who was soon going to be awake from the little noises he made and the way he moved around clearly made it sure that he was no more deep asleep.

"Why didn't you sleep, dear?" Luna questioned softly, his fingers moving through the alpha's hair pushing them back wanting his alpha to rest but Jungkook didn't even blink his eyes.

"I don't want to if I do then I'd miss my time with my best friend, look at how adorable he looks. Look at that mole on his nose, isn't it the cutest thing—" Jungkook rambled before he looked up at Luna a smile stretching over his lips, his eyes widening slightly as he reached his hand out and poked the soul's nose, "Oh wait, you have it too… ah you are my baby's wolf, will he be grown up and look just like you too? He is really going to be that pretty huh?" He laughed, shaking his head, "My cute baby would really turn out this beautiful… he is going to look like a dream." He said, staring at Luna.

"Alpha…" Luna trailed off, if he had blood in his veins he was sure his cheeks would be red and if he had a heart it would be beating faster than ever after hearing his mate praise his beauty.

"Shh, don't call me that. You are my baby's wolf so uhh… you are my baby too— my pup and you should call me hyung." He slightly chided, his eyes narrowing hearing Luna let out a giggle.

"Ok-okay hyung." Luna smiled and leaned forward to peck over Jungkook's forehead pulling a bit back, he kept staring into those onyx eyes while he fisted Jungkook's shirt seeing his alpha eye his lips for a brief second before the onyx eyes were again meeting his azure ones.

"Don't look at me like that pup, don't make me feel such things about you it's wrong." Jungkook whispered out as he looked away from the ocean eyes that seemed to drown in the unending abyss of… of?

He doesn't yet know what to name this feeling but his fluttering heart had already sent it's signal to his brain and there were the low whispers of this exact word that he kept on ignoring not believing his own mind and heart, love it was— he can't be in love with a soul, can he?

"Everything in love is wrong if you actually consider it's factors… How long would you keep denying I am your mate? In the near future you would surely feel things for me and the baby who is sleeping on top of you would be under you someday that too willingly… don't run away from things alpha the more you run away the more difficult it would be later." Luna said softly as he placed his cold fingers under the alpha's chin making Jungkook face him again before he lifted one of Jungkook's hands which were wrapped around Taehyung and placed on his bare waist.

The alpha was quick to withdraw his hand, his eyes widening as he again wrapped it around Taehyung's back rubbing the omega's back in a sorry attempt to rub off the sensation that he felt under his palm; it felt too tantalizing and erroneous to him. "Why can't we just be like this forever? I don't want him to grow up and know about me being his mate… if he does know I want our relationship to be normal— like best friends." He said out his words practically pleading towards the soul that lay beside him.

"Be careful of what you wish, you know your words sound like you are going to reject me— us." Luna said, his eyes narrowing and Jungkook could feel the wolf soul getting protective over his human, the atmosphere around getting colder, after all the wolf inside them is always there as a shadow, a part of them that protects them and Luna would protect his human even if he has to hurt Jungkook for it.

"Oh no my moon, I would never. It's just I feel like I'm doing wrong. How can I ever think about Taehyung like this? He is a decade younger than me, it feels so wrong— it is so wrong, Luna." Jungkook cleared out, he reached out and held Luna's hand ignoring the way his palm felt the chills running through his veins.
