Chapter 27 - Away

Jungkook sighed for the nth time seeing another flower kept on his lap— it was the fifteenth flower placed by the giggling omega who again ran out of the room, returning shortly with another flower, placing it on his lap pecking his cheek before hopping away yet again.

Honestly, Jungkook could do nothing but sit on the bed back resting on the headboard holding his iPad and reading all the emails sending some to Mina so she could reply on his behalf, answering some by himself.

Again there was Taehyung, his hair adorably bouncing with every step, dressed in a beige sweatshirt and loose pajama pants now placing another white daisy on his lap pecking his cheek again before again running away.

The reason why the omega was doing this was still unknown but Jungkook didn't speak anything about it letting Taehyung do whatever made the omega happy.

It repeated again and Taehyung was too excited with whatever he was doing now placing the eighteenth flower pecking Jungkook's cheek but this time not hoping away rather just sitting down on the bed taking deep breaths with a wide smile on his lips.

"Wah! That was tiring." Taehyung breathed out taking each flower from Jungkook's lap and started to make a flower crown, something he was skilled at doing because sitting in a room everyday he didn't have anything else to do than to learn such new things like these.

Jungkook saw how Taehyung was carefully twisting the stem of the daisy twisting it into the other one, delicately being careful enough not to break the fragile petals.

"Why didn't you bring it all at once?" He questioned, his gaze focused on how the omega's tongue was poking out between his lips.

"Joonie hyung was meanie." Taehyung said, voice low, completely focused on his work, "I told him to bring flowers, he brought and then said to take each flower to the room after pecking him on his cheek or I don't get any." He huffed and took another flower, making his flower crown.

"Some habits don't change, huh?" Jungkook scoffed and Taehyung nodded at his words, but then— "why did you peck me?"

The blotches of pink were quick to coat Taehyung's cheeks as he didn't look up at Jungkook, he did it just because he wanted to shower Jungkook with everything good he could give.

Because even if Jungkook was talking to him just as usual, the alpha hadn't once said that he had forgiven him, he just dodged away every time he apologized.

So, he will do anything he can to earn the forgiveness— to be deserving enough.

Once the flower crown was complete, he stood on his knees on the bed and placed it on Jungkook's head, leaning away squealing over how cute his alpha looked with the crown on his head.

"You're so pretty." He mumbled, almost in dazed, staring at Jungkook who had his eyes raised up before he looked back at his iPad switching it off so he could see his reflection in the black screen seeing the flower crown now placed on his head, above his tousled hair.

"Thank you." Jungkook smiled up at Taehyung before getting back to his work again.

Taehyung's smile dropped as he sat back on the bed, pouting again. He had thought all day about how he would be earning Jungkook's forgiveness but he didn't get any ideas so he asked his mother. His mother said that he just has to make Jungkook happy, but he didn't know how to do so.

Flower crowns always made him happy, so he thought that it would make Jungkook happy too.

And positively, his alpha didn't look as happy as Taehyung thought he would be.

"What are you trying to do Taehyung?"

Taehyung had a huge urge to whine about how Jungkook didn't call him sweet nicknames anymore, it made him want to roll over the bed whining his heart out so he could hear himself being called pretty names again.
